About ten minutes later, footsteps were heard outside. Everyone instinctively held their breath. As the door was pushed open, before Gu Hongwei saw who was there he knelt down on one knee and took out an engagement ring from his pocket.
Everyone’s smiles froze on their faces in surprise as they looked at the newcomer.
Gu Hongwei was stunned. The last thing he expected was for the person to be Han Enzhen, not Guo Jinnian. He even forgot to stand up.
Han Enzhen was also stunned. She blinked and said, "Oops, oops, Jinnian is right behind me."

Excited and gleeful, Guo Jinnian ran over, snatched the ring from Gu Hongwei’s hand, and expressed her joy like a little girl, "Gu Hongwei, I do, I do. I will marry you. I’ve been waiting so long for this day."
Hearing this, Gu Hongwei couldn’t help but laugh. He rose to his feet and affectionately pinched her cheek, "You should show some restraint in front of everyone."
Guo Jinnian responded, "Why should I show restraint? You’ve given me such a huge surprise, do you expect me to pretend to reject you first?"
