Xinyan saw them walking over, so she put the camera in her bag: "Dad, it’s getting late. Do you want to try the school cafeteria food?"
Han Jingchen naturally had no objections: "Sure."
Sun Zhenling jumped up like a child: "I think it’s a great idea. When I go home, I can show off to my family."
Han Jingchen smiled at Sun Zhenling and said gently: "If you want to eat it again later, just come and find your cousin. It’s not a big deal, no need to make a fuss."
Sun Zhenling wrapped her arm around Han Jingchen’s: "Uncle, my mom and Xiao Hai wanted to come today too. If my mom wasn’t tied up at work today, Xiao Hai would’ve come to school. They would definitely have come. When I go back, I can’t help but brag a little to them."
The group chatted and laughed as they walked towards the cafeteria.
They happened to brush past Li Yutong and Xia Ruhui. Originally, Xia Ruhui wanted to greet them to ease the tension, but Li Yutong murmured under her breath: "Foxy lady."
Though she spoke softly, both Han Jingchen and He Jinxuan, and Xinyan heard it. Only Sun Zhenling didn’t hear and was still smiling, saying: "Uncle, I want to pick my favorite dish later."
Shortly after they passed each other, He Jinxuan’s hand moved slightly, and Li Yutong let out a scream, directly kneeling on the spot.
Earlier in the dormitory, He Jinxuan hadn’t asked about it, but when they came out, she found out that these two were the girls causing trouble at the department store that day. And today, they were deliberately picking a fight, so she decided to teach them a small lesson.
Unluckily, she fell on a gravel path. To look good, she was wearing a dress, which meant her knees directly met the gravel. Only she knew the pain.

Xinyan was chatting with Sun Zhenling and didn’t notice He Jinxuan’s actions. However, Han Jingchen gave He Jinxuan an approving look, and the group didn’t stop and kept walking away.
Li Yutong’s scream drew quite a bit of attention. She felt embarrassed and struggled to get up, but she underestimated the injury to her knees. She lost her balance and kneeled again, letting out another "ah" of pain.
Unable to bear it, with a voice almost in tears, she angrily said to Xia Ruhui: "Are you dead or what? Why didn’t you help me up?"
Although Xinyan didn’t see He Jinxuan in action, she knew Li Yutong couldn’t have just fallen for no reason, so she looked directly at He Jinxuan, who showed no expression on her face.
Xinyan didn’t believe it, so taking advantage of no one’s attention, she hooked He Jinxuan’s finger with hers and winked at him.
He Jinxuan’s mouth curved up: "If you have eyes but don’t watch where you’re going, you’re truly blind."
Xinyan laughed at this, thinking: This guy sure holds grudges; he remembered what I said to him the other day. Li Yutong did call me ’blind’ after all.
When they arrived at the cafeteria, it wasn’t very crowded yet. Since they hadn’t brought any lunchboxes, Xinyan suggested they go in to find seats, and she would go get the lunchboxes.
Since she only brought one enamel lunchbox and one thermos container, she grabbed three dishes directly, with steamed buns as the staple food.
The food tasted decent. After they finished eating, they walked around the remaining areas and then prepared to leave.
Xinyan walked them out to the school gate and even asked someone to help take a few group photos as a keepsake.
She handed the camera to Han Jingchen: "Dad, here’s the camera. Take it back with you and remember to develop the photos."
Han Jingchen took it with a smile, a bit worried: "If anything happens, don’t handle it all by yourself. Call home as soon as possible."
Xinyan nodded with a smile: "I will."
