After explaining everything, Han Jingchen finally hung up the phone. Xinyan still had to go to school, and though He Jinxuan could handle things, being a man, it wasn’t convenient for him to care for a patient, especially since he had work. So, letting Sister Chen take care was the most appropriate option.
By the time He Jinxuan returned with food, it had already been half an hour.
After putting things down, he said to Xinyan, "It’s late, just make do and eat a few bites."
When he went to deliver food to the doctors, they were still discussing Granny Zhang’s situation. Their dedication was truly admirable, and he was quite impressed.
Ultimately, they felt that Granny Zhang was incredibly lucky. According to their calculations, even if it were benign, the tumor shouldn’t look like this, but they couldn’t figure out the reason, so they kept discussing without even remembering to eat.
It wasn’t until He Jinxuan brought over a large bag of meat buns that the aroma finally caught their attention.

Originally, He Jinxuan wanted Xinyan to book a room at the hotel across from the hospital to rest while he stayed to watch over Granny Zhang.
But Xinyan was not at ease, thinking that in case Granny Zhang could pass gas in the middle of the night, she could use that as an excuse to go out and get some food from the space to give to Granny Zhang. No matter what He Jinxuan said, she simply refused to agree.
Xinyan used the excuse of going to the bathroom to find a place and returned with a thermal container.
She even claimed that someone downstairs was cooking food for patients in the kitchen, and she bought it from them.
He Jinxuan wasn’t suspicious, knowing that the big kitchen downstairs could indeed be used for cooking at night. He figured Xinyan must have paid a desirable price that tempted them to give her the food.
Xinyan placed the thermal container on the table and whispered to He Jinxuan, "I followed the aroma over, and they happened to be cooking a lot. I just asked for some, and I even bought the thermal container from them. Once the gas passes, she can eat anytime."
She really guessed it right. Granny Zhang did pass gas late at night, and upon hearing the noise, Xinyan hurried forward, "Granny Zhang, since you’ve passed gas, you can eat now. There’s porridge in the thermal container, and the temperature should be just right now. I’ll help you sit up."

After speaking, she walked to the other side of the bed: "Are you feeling better? I brought breakfast, eat a little more later."
Granny Zhang smiled and pointed to the stool beside her: "Take a seat. With my illness, I’ve made it hard for everyone to have peace."
