Xinyan frowned at her: "Then tell me."

After speaking, she ignored Liu Ronghua’s expression and headed straight for the classroom.
Before she could find a seat, the bell rung for class.
Jiang Peiqin saw Xinyan sit down and asked quietly: "Who were you talking to outside?"
Xinyan gave her a sidelong glance: "You saw?"
Jiang Peiqin shrugged: "I only saw you, didn’t see who you were talking to."
Xinyan was about to say something, but the professor had already entered: "I’ll tell you after class."
Jiang Peiqin saw the professor at the podium and refrained from asking.
She used to be very cold, rarely interacting with people, but after meeting Xinyan, she had become much more talkative.
After the class ended and the professor left, she leaned over: "So, who was it?"
Xinyan packed up her books and notebook: "It was Liu Ronghua."
When Jiang Peiqin heard it was her, she had a smug expression as if saying ’I knew it’: "See, I was right."

After that, things remained peaceful.
But after the afternoon class ended and Xinyan left the teaching building with Jiang Peiqin and a few others, someone blocked their path.
Xinyan and Jiang Peiqin exchanged a glance and both smirked.
Looking at the person blocking them, Xinyan calmly asked: "What’s up?"
One slightly chubby girl spoke up: "Han Xinyan, we might be from all parts of the country, but we’re classmates; we should help each other. Liu Ronghua just wanted to borrow a pair of shoes, and you actually refused?"
Once someone started, others chimed in: "Yeah, you have such good conditions, changing outfits so often, yet you can’t embody the spirit of helping among classmates, why are you so stingy?"
Xinyan laughed aloud at this: "Did you all gather here just for this matter?"
A classmate saw her still laughing: "You’re so selfish, clearly capable yet unwilling to help classmates, that’s the typical behavior of looking down on us poor peasants."
