The food at the Li’s is quite lavish, which left Qin Xue a little dumbfounded, she felt like a VIP.
“You’ve gone to a lot of trouble, Mrs. Li.” Qin Xue was somewhat embarrassed; they had prepared all this food and she hadn’t helped at all.
“It’s no trouble, come on, eat more, you look too slim. Is it because Molin doesn’t feed you?” Chen Lei joked, seeing how slim Qin Xue was.

Qin Xue looked at Chu Molin apologetically; her slim figure had led to his being implicated, which made her want to laugh.

Chu Yi noticed his big brother and sister-in-law’s actions but did not say anything. Instead, he felt moved. He’d never seen his brother , still maintaining his cold demeanor but with a tenderness in his eyes that was unmistakable. All he wanted was for his brother to be happy.
Qin Xue, his big sister-in-law, seemed to have a good temper. From then till now, she remained gentle and polite, surprising him that such women still existed. He believed she might be the last of her kind.
If Qin Xue knew Chu Yi’s thoughts, she would laugh at his naivety. He hadn’t seen her lose her temper; otherwise, he definitely wouldn’t think so highly of her. It’s true she was easygoing when she wasn’t upset, but once she was, even she didn’t know what she might do.
The three people’s flattery didn’t matter much to Li Zhiyan, who went straight to sleep after chatting for a while.
