Yun Shuang reminisced about other pastries that Meng Yunhan had made before, like rice candy and wine-soaked peanuts, which tasted even better than items sold in the town’s co-op.
“So, will Hanhan and Little Huzi follow you into the military?”
Yun Hao nodded, “Yes, they’ll follow me.”
Yun Shuang was used to Yun Hao’s detached manner. Except for his soft spot for his wife, he was usually quite aloof about everything else.

She was conflicted. She didn’t want to judge the actions of their mother and two elder brothers with their wives.
