Upon seeing Little Huzi’s struggle, Yun Hao handed him to Old Zhao. Old Zhao then held Little Huzi until he urinated, which happened immediately.
“Your son is remarkably clean—rarely soils his clothes or bed.” Old Zhao was at a loss for words.
But he could guess that it was probably due to his parents’ clean habits that Little Huzi also inherited this trait.

Yun Hao, maintaining a stern expression, watched his son move about the bed, causing him to furrow his brows.
“Ahao, when are you returning to the army base?” As the weekend was approaching, Old Zhao wondered whether Yun Hao would leave in the next couple of days or depart the very next day. It had been several months since his last visit.

Old Zhao felt reassured, knowing his daughter-in-law would have more company.
With Little Huzi still crawling around, Yun Hao reached out, pulled him closer, and lifted him up, restraining his movements.
However, it seemed Little Huzi sensed Yun Hao wasn’t fond of this and stared at him, attempting to grab his clothes.
Yun Hao’s stern face seemed about to crack.
Tugging at his clothes, Little Huzi also tried to touch Yun Hao’s face.
“Little Huzi, this is your father, your father,” Old Zhao introduced Little Huzi to Yun Hao.
Having glanced at Yun Hao, Little Huzi continued to fiddle with his collar.
“Father, thank you for your help,” Yun Hao tried to express his gratitude.
Waving his hand, Old Zhao replied, “No need for thanks. By the way, I’m not sure if Yunhan has mentioned the pension fund.”
Yun Hao nodded, “She briefly mentioned it.”
Old Zhao did not bring up the topic further.
“Your father sent some silver dollars over. Your older brothers probably don’t know about this.”
Yun Hao paused, gasping for breath. He then noticed that his son had a tight grip on his collar.
He tried his very best to unclasp Little Huzi’s chubby hand.
The boy didn’t even realize his physical strength. He must have fed on something to gain so much weight.
Caught off guard, Little Huzi appeared bewildered by the sudden smack. He seemed hurt, yet didn’t cry.
Old Zhao watched their father-son interaction with satisfaction.
“Ahao, I’ll step out for a moment,” Old Zhao decided not to interrupt their bonding time.
As Old Zhao left the room, he closed the door behind him.
“You’re a little man. You can’t keep clinging to your mother. She’s my wife, not yours,” Yun Hao told Little Huzi.
Not understanding a word, Little Huzi glanced at Yun Hao before returning his attention to Yun Hao’s clothes.
During mealtime, Little Huzi was seated in his high-chair while Meng Yunhan fed him with a small spoon.
“Let him feed himself,” interjected Yun Hao.
Meng Yunhan looked stunned. She wondered if she’d heard correctly, “Let an infant not yet one year old feed himself?”
Unfazed by his wife’s surprise, Yun Hao took over with a stern face; he grabbed the spoon from her and pulled the high chair towards him. “I’ll feed him.” He scooped up a spoonful and put it in Little Huzi’s mouth.
Meng Yunhan watched the scene in disbelief, wondering if she had misunderstood somehow.
But Old Zhao watched on with a perpetual smile.
Being a man himself, how could he misunderstand?
