Usually, Meng Yunhan felt that a class would pass quickly, but today, every minute and second seemed to drag on forever.
This was a matter of mindset.
In the past, as long as she paid attention during class, the forty-minute class would go by in a flash.
But now, her heart filled with thoughts of Ahao, time seemed to pass very slowly, extremely slowly.

Of course, the last thought was merely wishful thinking. This would be plausible years or even a decade later when they were dating or were boyfriend and girlfriend.
But, it was just the late seventies now.
As she got closer to the school gate and saw his figure clad in green, she wondered if she was seeing things.
In the noon, Ahao waited for her outside because he didn’t know where they lived, that was obvious.
But his appearance in the afternoon again couldn’t be explained.
She rubbed her eyes to look again, he was still there, and he smiled at her. She could hardly wait, rushing towards him.
“Slow down, slow down.” Yun Hao was concerned that his wife might stumble, he kept telling her to slow down while striding towards Meng Yunhan himself.
Yun Hao casually said, “I’ll carry your bag.” He reached out and took Meng Yunhan’s bag casually.
The smile on Meng Yunhan’s face was one that came from deep within her heart.
For Yun Hao, seeing such a lovely smile on his wife’s face was something he always longed for.
The security guard at the school gate was observing the attractive pair. He’d seen Yun Hao waiting here at noon and then, after lunch, pushing a children’s stroller to pick someone up and now he was again here to pick up the same girl.
“How come you came to pick me up? Where is Little Huzi?” Meng Yunhan asked, knowing that Little Huzi loved being outdoors and hated staying inside their tiny room at home.
The gentle expression on Yun Hao’s face gradually disappeared. Evidently, his wife was indeed more concerned about Little Huzi.
“At home, dad, told him to take a nap.” It wasn’t that he didn’t want to bring Little Huzi out, but Little Huzi needed to take a nap.
If Little Huzi could talk, he would definitely refute and say: It was dad who didn’t bring me out, even though I was already wide awake.
