Yao Jingsong knew where Yang Yunhai stayed. Over the past few days, whenever he had spare time, he’d run over there. Today, when he saw the gate of Yunhai’s family’s courtyard open from afar, he turned around and ran back immediately.

"These are homemade by her grandmother, brought for you to try."
"You’re too kind." Yang Yunhai glanced at Gu Lingling, who hadn’t spoken all along. With her grandfather present, she was as well-behaved as a little kitten.
But Yao Jingsong’s eyes were darting towards him with excitement, admiration overflowing.

Replaced by his usual icy demeanor, "Why are you here?"
"Brother Hai, I... I’m here to care for you." Outside stood a woman who looked like she had rushed over early in the morning.
"No need, I have someone to care for me here." Yang Yunhai said coldly, "You should go back. Please address me by my title, Doctor Shen."
Behind Yao Zhenjiang, Gu Lingling stuck out her tongue, unexpectedly finding Shen Lingyun had pursued him here.
And Yang Yunhai’s words were really quite blunt.
This truly is the right way to deal with it.
"I heard that Xiao Wang, who’s supposed to care for you, went back home because his father is seriously ill. You actually have no one here." Shen Lingyu sounded a bit aggrieved.

"Lingling, come over here."
Yang Yunhai’s voice was deep, magnetic, and surprisingly... gentle.
There’s definitely some ulterior motive here.
"What are you standing there for? Hurry up and come over." His lips slightly curved upwards. He found he quite enjoyed seeing the little girl looking stunned, "She’ll be the one taking care of me during this time."
"But look at her silly appearance, how could she care for you well?" Shen Lingyu’s voice was sharp.
