Gu Lingling’s almond eyes stared at the Black Bird on Yang Yunhai’s shoulder, watching it warily, afraid that it might harm Yang Yunhai or herself in the next second.
Who knew that bird would roll its eyes at her, then haughtily fly back to its nest, retrieve the red fruit from before, and flatteringly fly around Yang Yunhai.
The meaning was already quite obvious.
"You want me to eat this fruit too?" Yang Yunhai asked.
The Black Bird flapped its wings faster and even nodded, chirping away, not knowing what it was saying.
Yang Yunhai extended his hand, and the Black Bird placed the red fruit on his palm, looking at him with eager eyes, hoping he would eat the red fruit immediately.

The Black Bird widened its eyes and shook its head vigorously.

He also noticed that this Black Bird, while not looking significant, did not harbor any malice.
Just as Yang Yunhai finished speaking, the Black Bird suddenly flew up again, returned to its nest, and after a while, quietly poked its head out, glanced at Yang Yunhai conflictedly, and then resentfully looked at Gu Lingling standing beside him.
Then it retracted its head again.

"Be good." Yang Yunhai coaxed with a smile, afraid that Gu Lingling might disdain the fact that it was carried over by the Black Bird, so he deliberately washed it with spring water, which made the Black Bird chirp angrily but was subdued with a mere glance from Yang Yunhai.
"Thank you, Brother Yang." Gu Lingling smiled as she accepted the item.

The Black Bird, however, was not content, chirping indignantly as it circled Yang Yunhai.

This silly girl just didn’t appreciate it.
