When the door opened, Gu Juan saw a man dressed like a mailman, pushing a green bicycle, and asked in confusion.
"You must be Gu Lingling, right?" The mailman uncle said with a smile, "Good child, your admission letter has arrived."
To deliver an admission letter to Qin City’s top high school graduate, the mailman uncle felt very honored.
He looked at the girl in front of him with pride.
"You are truly amazing, bringing honor to Qin City," the mailman uncle continued proudly, "Kyoto University, that’s the highest institute in our country."
"Good child, keep working hard, strive to bring glory to the nation and to Qin City."

"Truly a good child," the mailman uncle said smiling, handing the admission letter to Gu Juan.

"Who was it?" Once back inside, Old Sir Gu asked, "Who came?"
"No one," Gu Juan said, "Just someone passing by asking for directions."
"Oh." Old Sir Gu didn’t suspect anything and nodded, then said to her, "What are your plans now?"
"Isn’t the college entrance exam reinstated? Do you want to prepare to take the exam?" Old Sir Gu asked, "Lingling’s study materials are still here at home. If you get into college, grandpa will support you."
Old Sir Gu was sincerely thinking of what’s best for Gu Juan.
His granddaughter was still young; though she’d been through many detours, it was fine as long as she could change now. Moreover, a girl should acquire some education.

"I’m quite foolish," Gu Juan said with a faint smile, "How could I be as smart as Lingling and score so well?"
