Gu Lingling coldly sneered.

"But you two..." Su Rumei pointed at her, then glanced at her daughter. Her daughter clearly mentioned this Miss Gu earlier.

"What's with your attitude?" Meng Feifei angrily blocked Gu Lingling. "Truly ill-mannered; after all, coming from a small town, no class whatsoever."
"Yes, I'm unrefined, but at least I wouldn't block someone from passing." Gu Lingling laughed in anger. "Or is this road owned by your family? Can't someone like me from a small town walk here?"
Meng Feifei's face turned beet red with sarcasm.
This little girl has such a sharp tongue!
"Young lady, speak properly." Su Rumei, unable to bear seeing her daughter suffer, immediately put on a stern face towards Gu Lingling.
"Heh..." This is truly like mother, like daughter, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. "Madam, before you talk about me, please discipline your own daughter first."

"That girl is truly detestable." Meng Feifei fumed whenever she remembered how she was embarrassed in the countryside.
What's worse, several people were present that day; someone must have let it slip, and the entire cultural troupe found out, making her unable to hold her head up for some time.

"Alright, alright, just a little imp." Su Rumei comforted her daughter. "You said she's from the countryside? Where exactly?"
"From a small village in Qin City." Meng Feifei replied grumpily.
She didn't notice her mother's expression.
"Do you know who else is in her family?" Su Rumei asked nonchalantly.
"I heard she doesn't have a mom." Meng Feifei sneered. "No wonder she's so uncultured. Apparently, she's so unlucky, she caused her mother's death."
"Her mother died?" Su Rumei exclaimed in surprise.
"Mom, what's wrong?" Meng Feifei finally noticed Su Rumei's expression and asked in confusion.
"I'm just thinking about you." Su Rumei smiled. "And who else is in her family? I heard you mention her surname is Gu. Do you know her mother's surname?"
"I think her mother's surname is Yao." Although puzzled, Meng Feifei thought for a moment and answered.
She had looked into Gu Lingling's family background.
"How could it be Yao?" Su Rumei muttered softly.
"Mom, what did you say?" Meng Feifei asked.
"Oh, nothing…" Su Rumei shook her head, returning to her senses. "Let's go, we'll buy you clothes quickly."
