There was still Rin back in the Eve Mansion. If something did happen, she would have reported it to her by now!
She threw her backpack on the bed and decided to go for a shower first.
In the end, she changed her mind and decided to apply a clay mask on her face, one that was stocked by Adrian in her bathroom. Seeing that it would be such a waste to not use it, she unabashedly shoved it in her luggage.
As she applied the mask on her face, she felt rather cheerful. Good life, ah, good life.
Unable to channelise her happiness elsewhere, she started singing.

After spreading the clay all over her face, Ella pushed open the bathroom door, "Oh yeah~ Oh yeah~ Oh... AHH?"
Why was it so cold? Did they put mint in this clay mask?
The freezing temperature struck a sense of familiarity and she stiffened.
Ella kept her hand on the doorknob and slowly let her gaze roam around the room.
Suddenly, she realized there was something amiss.
The sad looking dorm room felt like a premium bedroom in the hall.
The bed that should have been empty had welcomed a guest atop it.
Adrian looked at her, his eyes simmering with a restrained rage that she was all so familiar with.
Door... It must be something to do with this godforsaken door!
Did they install doraemon’s anywhere door in her dorm room by any chance?
One second, she was still living her mortal life and in the next, she was thrown to the deepest pits of hell and presented in front of the devil himself?
Adrian’s face was so cold that it put icicles on the thin walls. Ella felt a shiver crawl down her spine.
With her hand still resting on the doorknob, she slowly retreated...
The temperature dropped even further and Adrian’s eyes narrowed.
Ella immediately stopped retreating and approached him with a wide smile on her face.
He wouldn’t blame her, would he? Old habits die hard, after all. It seemed to have been ingrained in her soul that she should run away when she saw him.
Ella had yet to reach him when the man suddenly extended his hand towards her, ’’Come.’’
Knowing that there was no way out, she placed her palm upon his.
Slender fingers wrapped around her chubby ones and in the next moment, she was pulled onto his lap.
Ella was stunned but her reaction lasted only for a moment before she reacted, ’’Baby, how come you are here suddenly? And... how did you even manage to get inside the dorm room?"
Ah, they are already planning to kick me out. With you sneaking into my room, would they even need to wait?
As much as she wanted to scream that, she held back her words.
The man did not respond to her and the atmosphere was so tense that it became hard to breathe.
"Boys and girls in the crowd are all on their knees for you?"
Ella blinked, bewildered. Huh?
Suddenly, she realized he was referring to the song she was singing earlier.
He looked so offended because of that?
’’How could that be? Those... were just the lyrics!"
Adrian looked at her in silence.
’’Ahem... Baby, I just realized that I have put on this clay mask. Why don’t I go wash it off first? I am really afraid of ruining your suit... mmph...!
Before Ella could finish her words, her lips were captured.
Her eyes widened as Adrian cupped her jaw and bit her bottom lips before deepening the kiss.
’’Mm... Wait...’’ She pressed her hand against his chest and mumbled when their lips parted for a moment, ’’The face mask...’’
The man’s eyes glimmered with an insatiable hunger as he licked his bottom lips.
Ella’s heart pounded against her ribcage.
Why was the sight of Adrian King licking his lips... so... so wild?
It was just a simple action yet he looked nothing less than a seducer while doing that.
The man’s cool words dropped before he dove in for a kiss again. And this time, he kissed her deeper. Like that of a starving man.
A heat spread through her body in a speed that would have concerned her if not for a muddled mind.
When their lips parted again, the clay had smeared across Adrian’s face as well.
But even with that, he did not look messy but rather... rather he looked like a sculptor’s creation.
A creation that had already come to life with some remnants of the clay accidentally left on his face.
Even through the cooling mask, Ella felt her face heating up.
And her heart thudded in her chest as she felt the lingering pain and heat on her lips.
She jumped off Adrian’s lap like her life depended on it.
And without sparing the man another glance, she rushed to the bathroom.
Adrian’s composed appearance shattered bit by bit as she left. And gloomy clouds descended around him again.
Given how fast she ran away... did he hurt her again?
The thought sent a shot of gripping pain straight to his heart.
On the other hand, this time, Ella didn’t even go to the washbasin.
But rather, she twisted the main faucet desperately.
That seducer... No wonder... No wonder they said that the devil did not come with pointy horns and a scary face. With a devil like Adrian King, what harm was there in descending to hell...?
