Following his order, the authority level of the metal birdcages was instantly elevated. Their structural integrity increased significantly, making them nearly impenetrable.
So much so that even if the Emperor of Angels himself descended, these cages couldn’t be opened.
And yet... despite all that, the command seemed to have no effect on Daniel.
He simply reached out, gently grasped the lock on one of the cages—
—and with a casual twist, the cage opened effortlessly.
As it did, a profound, dark aura surged outward like a tidal wave.

Nidhogg, the Dark Dragon, was finally freed.

Wherever it touched, patrolling angels were instantly devoured.
These angels didn’t even have time to scream. They simply vanished into the abyss, consumed by the silence of oblivion.
On the other side, Lucifer the Fallen Angel was also released.
Unlike the other angels, Lucifer’s wings were no longer radiant gold—
Instead, they had transformed into a deep violet, symbolic of corruption and darkness.
Lucifer’s attacks were especially distinctive.
Though they followed the general framework of angelic combat techniques, his strikes were laced with purple flames—a twisted flame that carried corrosive energy, capable of infecting and torturing enemy angels.
The afflicted writhed in agony, their holy forms tainted by desecration.
At this point, angels below level 300 weren’t even qualified to be cannon fodder.

The others who had been released also sent Daniel waves of friendly intent.
They were fully aware that he was the one who had given them freedom.
Daniel’s gaze swept over the newly freed prisoners.
Each and every one of them radiated incredible power.
Judging by level alone, all of them were above level 450.
To put it bluntly, even within the high-ranking species like the Angel of Gold and Silver, a 450-level being was considered top-tier strength.
That meant the ones Daniel had released could directly challenge the angelic elites.
