The song was “We Are One,” Shi Lan’s favorite.
Yan Shixiu didn’t misunderstand by thinking Shi Lan was trying to express something through the lyrics; after all, she wasn’t the type for such sentimentalities in love. She simply wanted to share something she liked.

The efficiency from Glory’s end was quite high. Even though they were adjusting their sales strategy for the Asia Pacific region, that didn’t prevent them from having Shi Lan shoot their upcoming new series.
The new series from Glory aimed to promote women’s sports, and they had put in a great deal of effort both in design and quality.
Most importantly, this ad shoot would be a collaboration with a magazine and would carry a high-quality, large-scale feel.
The concern from the magazine was that Shi Lan might be too young to capture the wildness of Western women.
“I’ve already asked for leave from Director Tang; he said you had exceeded your shooting tasks in the past few days, so he approved the leave very promptly. However, this ad shoot will take place in the desert.” Tang Ze spoke on the phone to Shi Lan, discussing the itinerary.
