RED NOTES AND KISSES Chapter 7

Frida wandered through the aisles of the department store with Leah, who was on a mission to find the perfect new bra.

The store's ambient music hummed softly in the background, punctuated by Leah's voice as she sifted through the racks.

"I need a new bra," Leah announced dramatically. "I'm going over to Tyler's tonight, and I'm hoping we make out bad. Ugh, I need a good d*cking, and I know he can give it to me."

Frida nearly choked on her gum, coughing as Leah held up a lacy black bra with a grin. "Well, I'm sure you can get it. You're super hot."

Leah rolled her eyes and tossed her long hair over her shoulder. "Yeah, but he's shy. And you know me, I'm not the type to make the first move. But lately... I don't know. I think I'm getting a shy boy fetish, it's kind of a turn on."

Frida chuckled, shaking her head. "So, you've got the hots for him, huh?"

Leah gave a dramatic sigh, flipping through a rack of panties. "You've got that right. I feel like a female in heat."

She held up a shiny red set, examining it critically. "What do you think? Does this scream "take me now'?"

Frida laughed nervously, avoiding the question. Leah's confidence was overwhelming sometimes, and Frida found herself shrinking next to her friend's boldness.

"What about you?" Leah asked, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Aren't you going to get something? C'mon, you need this. It's my treat."

"No, thank you," Frida replied quickly. "Unlike you, I'm not seducing anyone."

Leah smirked knowingly, leaning in closer. "Unless it's Laziel," she drawled, her tone teasing.

Frida froze. "What did you say?"

"Nothing!" Leah laughed nervously, grabbing the lingerie set and darting into the dressing room. "I'm just kidding. Geez, don't kill me!"

Frida sighed, crossing her arms as she waited. Her eyes wandered over the racks of colorful items until something caught her attention a white-and-red Hello Kitty bra.

Her fingers brushed the soft cotton fabric as a memory surfaced.

"You look cute in Hello Kitty," Laz had said once, so casually it made her stomach flip.

Her cheeks burned as she picked up the set, hesitating.

The temptation tugged at her, and before she could think better of it, she grabbed it and slipped into an empty dressing room.

Inside, she locked the door and pulled off her shirt. She wasn't wearing a bra, so she quickly tried on the Hello Kitty one, glancing at herself in the mirror. It was cute.

Too cute. She smiled despite herself, running her fingers over the soft material.

Her hair came loose from its knot, tumbling over her shoulders as she adjusted the straps.

She didn't want to admit it, but the memory of Laz's words made her chest tighten with something she didn't want to name.

Just as she was about to take it off, her eyes caught something a red note taped to the edge of the mirror. Her breath hitched, and she froze.

Her heart hammered in her chest as she stared at it.

No one had been in here before her. She was sure of it. How had it gotten there?

Slowly, she reached for the note, her fingers trembling as she unfolded it.

In bold, slanted handwriting, it read:

"My hands would fit better."

Her breath came in short, panicked gasps as she scanned the small room. The walls were blank, the door firmly locked.

There was no way anyone could've come in without her noticing. Yet, the note was undeniably there.

She swallowed hard, clutching it tightly as she stepped out of the dressing room.

Leah was still inside hers, humming a pop song as she tried on her lingerie. Frida's eyes darted around the store, but nothing seemed out of place.

People milled about, shopping casually, oblivious to her growing anxiety.

"Hey, you okay?" Leah called as she emerged, holding up the lingerie set triumphantly. "What do you think? Hot, right?"

Frida forced a smile, shoving the note into her pocket. "Yeah, super hot."

Leah raised an eyebrow. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

"It's nothing," Frida lied, grabbing her shirt and heading for the counter. "Let's just pay and go."

As they walked out of the store, Frida couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her.

The note burned in her pocket, a chilling reminder of how dangerous this game was becoming.
