It was night time. The moon hung above the sky spreading a brilliant light over the sky reaching skeletal remains and the lands below it.
Through the darkness of the outer area of the forest within the grounds, hurried steps could be heard through the rustling trees and bushes. A figure of a man running desperately through the middle of the trees could be seen through the darkness.
Behind him, three more people in dark attire like assassins followed suit with very fast speed. They were following the young man with clear malicious intent in their eyes.
They were sent to kill the young man after he was announced to have no potential in becoming a transcendent. Their superiors promised benefits that were very beneficial to them.
They were assigned this menial task from the superior’s right after the boy’s situation was announced. But up until now, they never had any chance of killing the boy without being caught.
Today, he left the upper lands and came to the lower lands for some reason. Out of everyone’s eyes, it was the best chance to finish the task, so they clearly cannot let the man escape and alarm the temple and authorities.

Far ahead, a boy was walking towards the world size skeletal remains that was like a world barrier reaching the 9th sky. The gold he received from the imperial castle was all spent on the teleportation fees for his journey of five months.
He had used teleportation portals throughout his journey, crossing thousands of miles each time, yet it still took five months for him to travel from the capital to this checkpoint right beside the border city of Whiteburn.

It is said that the entire World of Imarion is so big that only the Mystic or above powers know how big the world spans and even they only know about the size of the land area in between the Chaos Sea and the Corrupted Dessert with Two Death Zones, Six Nations and one Island, beyond these, nobody truly know what are beyond.
Hell! Nobody has even been able to explore the Two Death Zones completely yet, let alone the god-like forces of the Corrupted Dessert and Chaos Sea.
"So, what are you going to do in this place called Whiteburn?" A sudden but familiar voice invaded his mind. But he was the only one who was still walking towards the city as all of his money was spent on travelling fees and he didn’t want to waste the precious recharged four percent charge of Envisioning on money.
Throughout his journey, he has discovered the recharge time for the skill. [Envisioning] skill would recharge 1% every 36 days, totaling only 10% in an entire year, to get the previous 100%, it would take ten whole years.
"I have some matters to handle there and then we can leave the empire." Dainsleif just replied to the familiar voice in his mind.
He was heading to the Whiteburn as it was one of the key locations the demonic force had ambushed in his previous life aside from the Beginner Dungeon and several other key locations. Truth be told, he wanted to leave the facility but not until he found the demonic spy and killed it.
But now, he doesn’t need to do all that himself as he has realized something. The Three Childhood sweethearts of his have also come back in time from the future. He did hate them, but he knew this much that they would protect the empire since they sacrificed him for the empire previously.
As for how he realized? He was just blind. Their actions and behaviors were all very different from their previous life. He just ignored those signs for some reason. But after the incident in this life, he recalled all those changes and realized their regression.
Now, he has to clear the demon forces in Whiteburn, which if destroyed would literally cause a big calamity, with the Kaiser Empire losing a big portion of its border lands connected to two other empires and kingdoms.
But he has clearly lost the support of his strongest skill. As for why, he summoned the luminous semi-transparent screen revealing his current status.
