After investing most of his money in cryptocurrency, he still has a few thousand dollars left in his bank account.
This money was already in his account. He could have invested them in the coin as well, but he needed some money for tonight. Especially since Ruth is a girl who pursues vanity, he will need to spend a little if he wants to bring her to his bed.
He could, of course, not bother with a girl like her, but Adam wants revenge on Joe, plus the girl is very hot. It would be foolish of him not to take advantage of it.
"I should put on some nice clothes for tonight. I can't look like an average Joe in front of Ruth's friends. Knowing her, her friend group must also be just as vain as her, and the best way to interact with this kind of people is by pretending to be as fake as them.
But Adam doesn't have to pretend as much as he is a second-generation right kid.
Adam walks up to his closet and looks through all his clothing and finds some suitable things he can wear.

Having worked in multiple businesses, one of them being clubs, Adam knows what to wear and what not to.
"I still have some time, let's see what else I can find about the current timeline," Adam murmurs to himself and sits in front of his computer again, and begins browsing through news regarding politics, celebrities, and happenings around the world.
As he goes through them, some of them he remembers, and some of them are completely new to him, even though he was chronically online in his past.
Adam looks at the time and sees that it's 7 PM. He looks outside and sees that the sun has set.
"I should get ready," he says, and takes out his chosen clothes from his closet and puts them on.
The black shirt sits perfectly on his frame, showing that he has a fit body underneath. He rolls up his long sleeves halfway to show off his strong, veiny arms.
He then straps a luxury watch on his wrist that was gifted to him by his dad on his sixteenth birthday. He has not worn it once since then. It was truly another thing wasted by Adam in the past.
Adam then puts on his pants and looks at his reflection in the mirror. Using his hand, he slides his thick, shiny hair to the side and then back, giving it some volume.
He then smiles, as he looks exceptionally handsome.
"If I had taken care of myself in the past, I might not have had such a bad life. If there is anyone to blame, it's me," Adam self reflects as he sees his current self in the mirror.
He looks nothing like his past. The more he thinks about his old, obese body, the more he is disgusted by it.
'I will never let myself become that again.' Adam takes an oath to never let go of himself, and he is very serious about it.
Now that he sees what he could have been, he doesn't plan to ever go back again. It would be incredibly stupid of him to go back to his old ways.
He cannot let that happen.
"Time to leave. Ruth must be waiting," Adam says with a smile, picks up his car keys, and heads downstairs.
As he walks down the stairs, he sees Julia sitting in the living room, watching a reality TV show on the big screen.
Hearing his footsteps, Julia turns her head and sees Adam walking down.
Her eyes widen with surprise as she sees the clothes Adam is wearing and how good he looks in them. In fact, it's he who's making the clothes on him look good.
Her eyes dilate as she finds Adam at this moment very handsome.
"Where are you going?" she asks instinctively. Usually, she never bothers asking him, but this time she did. She doesn't know why, but she thought she should ask.
"I have a date," Adam says and leaves without explaining much.
'A date?' Julia is surprised as she has never seen Adam ever talk to a girl. This is the very first time he has ever talked about a girl.
But before she could get to know more, Adam was already gone.
Getting in his car, Adam drives out of his house, heading to Joe's, where the hot Ruth is waiting for him.
