Driving through the familiar streets of his old neighborhood brought back some memories he had forgotten about from his past. And as he goes over them, he realizes they weren't any special either.
Sure, his life was way better, but he didn't live it like he should have. He didn't go out with his friends; he didn't have a social life he could have had; he didn't get inside many girls' pants he could have had.
He realizes that he wasted his life, even though he was born with a silver spoon.
"Let's not make the same mistake again," he says and hits the next gear.
As he drives through the city's busy streets, he recalls his days when he walked around on his feet struggling to make a living, and now he is driving on the same streets in an expensive car.
Adam drives up to his bank and finds the place relatively busy. People are waiting to do whatever they are here to do. He walks up to the deposit machine and quickly deposits his money.
As he walks out of the bank, someone calls him. "Adam!" Adam turns his head to see a young man with short, dark brown hair who seems to be of same age as him. Adam recognizes this young man, a face he will never forget.
"Man, I thought it was you. Where were you these past few weeks?" he asks.
Adam can never forget this face. This motherfucker was his best friend and currently is his best friend. The reason Adam can never forget this face is that this motherfucker literally fucked his stepmother.
When Adam got kicked out of his house, he went to this motherfucker for some help. But instead of helping Adam, this motherfucker called him a loser and laughed at his face for being a broke bastard. The only reason he was friends with Adam was because he could easily get money from Adam.
After a few months after being kicked out of his house, Adam saw this motherfucker entering a hotel with his stepmom.
Adam was boiling with anger when he saw that. Not only did this motherfucker stab him in his back, but he also fucked the woman Adam lusted after the most.
Well, his stepmother is a whore and fucked anybody after his father died. She kept a lot of boy toys for herself, and one of them was this idiot in front of Adam.
"Joe," Adam says and smiles.
"So where were you?" he asks again.
"You know, I was locked in my room, nothing more," Adam answers.
"I keep telling you, man, you need to get out there and experience life," Joe says, pretending to be a caring friend. "That's what I am planning to do," Adam replies.
"That's good to hear, man, so where are you going now?" he asks.
"Nowhere, just driving around," Adam answers.
"Great, let's get going then," Joe says and walks ahead of Adam and walks up to his car. Adam stares at Joe with cold eyes but doesn't say anything. Let this motherfucker pretend to be his friend for now. He will take care of him later.
Adam walks up to his car and sees Joe walking around his car, touching and admiring it. "Man, you are one lucky motherfucker. You don't know what I would do to get a car ," he says and looks up at Adam. 'Oh, I know the lengths you will go to get money,' Adam thought and smiled back at Joe.
"Hey can I drive it?" he asks. "No," Adam answers very quickly. He won't even try to pretend to be what he used to be, and he is never going to let this mother fucker's grubby hand use anything that belongs to him.
"Oh..." Joe says as he looks at Adam for an explanation, but it doesn't come. Adam just stood there giving Joe a weird look.
This has never happened before. Whenever Joe asked Adam something, Adam never refused.
But now the bastard directly rejected him.
"You can get in the passenger seat," Adam says, and gets in his car. Joe, though taken aback by Adam's firm command, didn't bother questioning it and got into the car.
"Let's head to your place," Adam suggests. "Why?" Joe asks. "My dad's home, and trust me, you don't want to be around him," Adam lies. His father must have already left for his office, leaving only his gold-digger of a stepmother in the house.
And in no condition is Adam going to take this sleazeball near her.
"Sure, we can go to my place. I got my hands on some premium old-school porn, which I know you are gonna love," Joe says with a cheeky smile.
"I don't know. I am tired of just watching porn. I want some real action," Adam says, surprising Joe. The Adam he used to know wouldn't even think, let alone utter these words.
"Shit, what happened to you?" Joe asks.
"I think I just woke up finally," Adam says.
"Well shit, I need whatever you are having," Joe says and starts laughing as Adam drives.
Unlike Adam, Joe comes from a middle-class family with a single-earning parent. His father is a truck driver, while his mother is a housewife.
He also has a sister that Adam has never seen in real life, but he has seen her pictures on the internet and Adam won't let go of any chance to hit that sexy ass.
