Chapter 38: Chapter 36: In The Clouds
*The Day Of Meeting*
I stand at the gate of the town, many people watching me. Beside me, Gearor stands silently.
"Lady Sumi, are you sure you don't want us to go with you?" Bokkon asks, worry etched on his face.
"Yes, miss Sumi, it would be good if we also come with you," Aurthor chimes in.
Yooto, standing beside him, nods in agreement.
I look at them and reply softly, "No, it's fine. You guys stay here and look after the town. I will go with Gearor since he knows where the Supremes are."
Suddenly, Lunara appears at my side, grabbing my leg. "HuHuHu, master, please take me with you too!" She said with a fake cry
I look at her and respond, "Your job is to train them. And anyway why are you acting like this? I can call you, and you can teleport wherever I am."
She gives a small smile. "Well, that... I, umm..." she trails off, unable to finish her sentence.
I grab her by her shirt and gently set her aside. "Well, it's time for me to go. Everyone, take care." I said
Everyone bows their heads as I walk toward the Fuboko cart parked nearby. Gearor opens the door for me, and I step inside, sitting down. He then takes his seat at the driver's position. The cart lifts off into the blue sky.
As we soar above the vast ocean, I look out the window, taking in the view. In my mind, I speak to Gearor.
(Gearor) I said
(Yes, Lady Sumi.) He replied
(So, what kind of people are these Supreme Rulers?) I ask.
(Well, I don't know much about them either. I know that they are the highest rank in the human race and are extremely strong. The headquarters of the Supreme Court is in the middle of the sky, between the clouds. The last time I went there was when King Altabet were called for a country meeting a few years ago. Gearor smiles and replies kindly, (That's a place only gods can make... and I'm sure you are capable of doing it.)
I smile softly and keep looking out the window.
