"Look! There is a small hole in the side of the cave wall over here! This should be where the little blue lizard lives!"
Continuing to listen to the conversation of the group of humans from afar, Scaly could not help but narrow her eyes even further as killing intent appeared in them.

Soon enough, a human stepped forward with a large iron pickaxe before he began digging into the side of the cave wall where the small hole leading into her newly acquired home was located!
Not only did the humans not return the favor of being saved by her, but now they had even begun to destroy her brand-new home!
Slowly getting close enough to inspect the humans who had come to hunt her down after she had just saved them, Scaly came to a stop behind a rock barely big enough to hide her tiny body from the humans cautiously looking around themselves to make sure no monster suddenly attacked them when they weren’t paying attention.
After all, they were currently inside a dungeon and monsters lurked around every corner!

Inspecting the closest person to her first, Scaly suddenly calmed down a lot before going over the rest of the humans.

Finished looking over the group of four humans currently gathered around the small hole leading into her home, Scaly could not help feeling that they were far weaker than she had expected.
Especially when remembering how that group of humans had dealt with the giant earth lizard!
Other than one of the humans who had evolved his class from a burglar into a proper thief of some sort, Scaly did not really feel like they were too much of a threat to her.
Realizing this, both of Scaly’s small eyes began shining as she realized that she had a chance to take revenge on the group of humans currently in the process of destroying her home.
But I can’t do it alone... There is no way for me to fight four of them at once and I also have to be careful around the human who reached level 13 and evolved his burglar class!
Thinking about this, Scaly glanced back towards the end of the tunnels where it branched off into several other tunnels.

To be specific, she focused on a familiar monster slowly bouncing over towards her and the group of human’s current location...

"Are you really sure this is the place where you saw this blue lizard?"
Feeling the gaze of his boss burning into his back, the human who Scaly had saved began shivering as he looked towards the tiny empty cave that appeared in front of him after he had dug into the location of the small hole.

Hearing the voice of his boss echo out behind him once again, he felt himself shiver even more as he understood what kind of situation, he was currently in.
"Boss! I swear I saw that lizard enter this hole! You must believe me!"
Throwing himself on the ground as he began to plead his boss, he could not help but shiver at the thought that his boss might abandoned him or worse, kill him!
Normally, his boss might not do something like this due to a small mistake like this, but today was different, as the leaders of the gang was gathering, and his boss had been called in by the big boss to join the meeting!

Lamenting over his past mistakes, he watched his boss pick up the large axe he was carrying around with him. Preparing himself for the worst, when suddenly-

The sound of something soft bouncing against the cave floor could be heard echoing out across the small tunnel as his boss, who was in the process of lifting his axe up to finish him off, came to a stop.
"What in the world-"
Hearing his boss mutter something, the scared burglar worked up some courage before looking over in the direction the bouncing sound was coming from. Only a second later did he realize why his boss had suddenly stopped midway, as his gaze remained locked onto the small colorful ball bouncing over towards him. The origin of the sound.
"Slimes...?"
Slimes were not really anything to worry about, but what he saw when he turned his head towards the origin of the sound was more than enough to scare him witless, as he watched more than a dozen harmless looking colorful slimes bouncing over towards him.
It had to be known that slimes were notoriously hard to kill without proper preparation. Not to mention how hard it would be for them to deal with so many of them at once!
"Let’s retreat... They should not be able to catch up with us, we will resume the conversation of the blue lizard when we return to the town!"
Listening to his boss suddenly calling out to him and the rest, the burglar who was about to be killed off felt like he had just managed to escape death thanks to the large number of slimes sudden appearance.

However, before he could rejoice in his newfound lease on life, the all too familiar bouncing sound echoed out from the other side of the tunnel that they had come from.
"This...! How did this happen!?"
Turning his head with an expression full of fear, his worst nightmare was realized, as more than a dozen slimes were also bouncing over towards them from the other side of the tunnel!
They were completely surrounded from both sides with no way out!
