With nearly all the male players cowering in fear, Clara didn't even glance at them. Her eyes had always been staring at Xu Feng after spotting him.
She had a cheerful expression on her face as she skipped happily toward him.
"Sir, I'm done with all the tasks so I can join you for at least 2 hours," Clara said gently, flashing two fingers up.
When the crowd heard her tone, with some even taking a risk to catch a glimpse of what was happening, their expressions were filled with horror and shock.
How could this gentle Clara still be the same fierce one who nearly got them killed?
In fact, there were even some who got more unlucky and were detained after dying for the crime of disorderly conduct.
"Is this really the Clara I know?"
"How come she's so cheerful and gentle with Cool Wind?"
"This is a dream, right? There's no way someone could be that lucky and get everything in life!"
"No wonder Thunder Sword suffered heavily. He had to offend someone whom Clara looked highly in regards to."
Although the Game Forum was filled with posts such as screenshots and videos, the truth was that none of them wanted to believe it was real.
However, now that they witnessed the exact scenario in their eyes, they could no longer deceive themselves and accept that the fierce Clara was someone gentle in front of Cool Wind.
Just how could they not be envious and jealous of Cool Wind?
"It's good that you're done." Meanwhile, Xu Feng ignored the commotion and smiled lightly in response.
"2 hours is more than enough to complete the quest that you assigned to her." He continued, pointing at Allison and seemingly teasing how the quest handler was going to complete it alongside the quest accepter.
How comical was that?
"Okay, but is he with you?" Clara said, shifting her gaze at Lightning Blade.
Her gaze alone nearly sent a cold shiver down Lightning Blade's spine. It was an intense predator gaze, and he felt extremely exposed.
Without a doubt, if Xu Feng answered no, then Lightning Blade was going to face her wrath.
Luckily for Lightning Blade, he didn't get trolled as Xu Feng nodded his head, "Yes, he's going to be the one doing all the tedious work for us during the quest."
"I see…" Retracting her fierce gaze, Clara still made sure to release some of her mana, essentially warning Lightning Blade to keep a fixed distance between them. Otherwise, there shall be no mercy for him.
Lightning Blade shrieked in response, and quickly hid behind Xu Feng.
Unfortunately for him, Xu Feng despised such action the most. He turned around and gave him a kick.
"Shoo, go to the front and be the acting tank to redeem yourself." He then scolded, not giving Lightning Blade any face.
With such coldness, Lightning Blade would never suspect Cool Wind was Lin Feng.
Having been kicked to the front, Xu Feng turned to Allison and said, "By the way, when Lightning Blade does the attacking, you simply need to attack the monster when they are low."
Nodding, Allison believed this was equivalent to the first lesson of fairness.
Although Lightning Blade was tasked to do the hard work, the benefit was going to go to her. And the reason was simple. She got the so-called "fairness" to receive such generosity.
It wasn't morally right, but who was she to say no to Xu Feng's suggestion?
After all, it was light work and all she needed to do was chuck a few spells for the last hit. Totally better than the others who had to physically hack and slash at a low-level monster for minutes to kill one.
A few minutes later, they exited Riverwood Town successfully.
Of course, along the way, Xu Feng sensed there were quite a few courageous folks trying to follow them, but he only needed to say a few simple words.
"Clara, some people want to have a taste of your spell." He chuckled lightly, clearly suggesting she should clear them out.
Naturally, Clara was happy to oblige, feeling useful for once unlike the past where she could only remain behind Xu Feng and watch him clear the danger for her.
Shortly after Clara took the lead, the screaming began echoing from all corners, with the most tear-jerking sound coming from the male players. As for the female players, they weren't spared either as they shrieked in fear before getting blasted away.
Those who survived the blast would be traumatized as opposed to those who immediately lost all their health points.
As these players attempt to plead for mercy, only to end up being blasting away through the sky, Xu Feng remained nonchalant about it.
While Clara was doing the sweeping, Allison held a concerned expression.
"Are you fine with Clara blasting those players away?" She asked worryingly for him.
"Why wouldn't I be fine?" Xu Feng mused, seemingly baffled by her concern.
Allison furrowed her brows and expressed her thoughts. "Well, you made a whole big statement about no bullying and oppression. They might now accuse you of bullying them and being a hypocrite."
Amused, Xu Feng nearly laughed aloud at her thoughts.
"You need to remember this well. Neutral maps are different from towns or cities. I won't forbid my members from the neutral maps. It's survival of the best, so once they are in the neutral maps, they should expect to be attacked." He explained, informing her of the differences.
If the Vanguard Guild truly behaved the same as they did in the towns or cities, then they might as well be renamed to a charity foundation.
"Hmm, so neutral maps mean whatever goes, but towns and cities, they must behave. Noted." Nodding, Allison held a solemn expression, seemingly absorbing all this information to mind.
These were all valuable items that could not be found online. Hence, she was very appreciative of Xu Feng for teaching her the ways of a player rather than just the simple hack and slash on monsters.
