"You can treat snake venom?"
The Golden Widow looked at Nianyang with disbelief on her face. Everyone had lived in the same courtyard for years, and who didn’t know that Nianyang was timid and incompetent, clumsy in everything she did? How could she possibly treat illnesses?
The neighbors reacted similarly to the Golden Widow, expressing their doubts, "Gu Family’s second girl, are you joking? When did you learn medical skills?"
"Saozi, Dou Dou has been poisoned by a viper. If emergency treatment isn’t done within half an hour, the venom will invade his heart and lungs, causing shock. Despite the girl still wearing her old tattered clothes and looking like the timid, silly girl she used to be, her eyes were so bright, as if everything was under her control, compelling everyone to believe, could it be that the second girl had been hiding her skills and really could perform medical treatment?
At that moment, Gu Yuandao, Wang Ying, and Gu Youlan came over to watch the commotion. Hearing Nianyang’s words, they all changed their expressions simultaneously.
"You worthless girl, mind your own business! Hurry up and get back to the house!" Wang Ying shouted with her hands on her hips. Since Nianyang already exposed her yesterday, she had no need to pretend to be the virtuous wife anymore.
"Yangyang, don’t be stubborn, we grew up together, do you think I don’t know whether you can do medicine or not? If the delay ends up causing Dou Dou’s death, even selling the house wouldn’t be enough to compensate!" Gu Youlan said loudly, seeming to care for her sister but actually implying that Nianyang was foolishly playing with everyone.
Gu Yuandao, hearing Gu Youlan’s words, immediately became extremely tense, thinking if Nianyang failed to save Dou Dou, wouldn’t their family be drowned in a sea of criticism? And the family money would be all gone too!

"Dou Dou is poisoned by snake venom, washing the wound and surrounding skin with soapy water can stop the spread of the venom and wash away the surface venom outside the wound, preventing it from entering again." Nianyang explained while deftly completing the cleaning task.
Saozi and the crowd stood in shock, whether what Nianyang said was true, her swift actions were definitely remarkable.
Saying this, Nianyang took a knife and cut a cross-shaped incision centered on the tooth marks, deep into the subcutaneous tissue of the wound.
Then she used her hand to repeatedly squeeze from Dou Dou’s proximal limb towards the wound, forcing the poison to discharge from the cross-shaped incision.
The scene was too bloody, the Golden Widow and the onlookers couldn’t help closing their eyes.
Nianyang continued the squeezing action for about ten minutes; after the excreted blood changed from dark red to pure red, she finally stopped, breathed a sigh of relief.
"Saozi, all the snake venom is expelled. Dou Dou is fine now."
