His wolf let out another annoyed huff. He was clearly not happy with Finn’s choice of women. According to him, they had seen what this woman could do, and they were better off without her. But Finn had other ideas. There was something different about conquering a strong woman, and he was not going to let his wolf stop him from chasing what he wanted.

Upon hearing this, Finn closed his legs so fast that Tracy turned to look at him with a questioning look on her face.

Honestly, he couldn’t even blame his wolf for losing his temper with him. He was losing his patience with himself as well.
How could he not? Every time they drove past a park? Hotel? Woods? All he could think of was pressing this little witch and taking her. His eyes continued to find her. And damn this woman—she was a siren in a witch’s clothing, he was sure of it. She felt her wrist buzz, and Tracy looked down at her watch. Realising that it was Inez texting her, she pulled her phone out and took a look at the message that was waiting for her.
[Inez: I feel really uncomfortable... it’s like something is watching me.]
She was right; there was a very good chance that something was indeed watching her. Tracy tapped her forefinger on the steering wheel. But she was safe. For now.
She swiped a reply quickly.
[Tracy: You are probably thinking too much. You are safe; just keep going where you are going. Don’t stop.]
[Inez: That’s the thing. No one believes me...they are not willing to follow me.]
Of course they did. They were so silly that they didn’t even know that they had the best tactician with them, even if she felt unreliable at the moment.
[Tracy: Dump them and escape.]
Since they wanted to die, let them. As long as Inez survived, it truly didn’t matter to her. Even if their entire pack was swiped out, it had nothing to do with her.
As she finished texting, her gaze fell on the truck that was heading their way from the side, and she swivelled her SUV to one side to avoid it. Though they did avoid getting into an accident, the people inside the vehicle were still jolted.
Finn’s head bumped into the roof of the SUV, and he let out a curse. He raised his head and looked at the woman beside him with a pained look. "Can you focus on driving, please? I would like to get out of this car safely. Please and thank you."
