Robert felt that any of these questions could swell his boss’s conceited face, but the problem was, he didn’t dare to ask, not even one question.
So he just had to hold it in, so much so that his kidneys were starting to hurt.
If he had known that being the boss’s driver could harm his kidneys, he would have called in sick and not come at all.
Adam’s words took Robert on a journey from facial pain to kidney pain, while Elly merely glanced at him indifferently before turning her gaze away.
