"According to the investigation, you checked into the hotel with two people. Why are there four today? Where are the other two?"
Ye Tong’s brow furrowed even more, "They are on their way, one day behind us."
"Where are they coming from?"
"From company headquarters." Ye Tong’s eyes showed confusion, "Does this have to do with the case?"
"Just answer my questions!" The interrogation officer interrupted her sternly.
Ye Tong felt somewhat stifled.
"Where is the company headquarters?"
Ye Tong didn’t want to answer anymore, she closed her mouth and chose not to respond.
But the interrogation officer pressed harder, "Is it that you don’t want to answer, or can’t answer?"
"Did you arrange for those two to commit murder and silence witnesses?"

"Were you dissatisfied because Ye Dahe sold you out, and thus hired someone to kill his second wife?"

"Where did you pick up the agent and assistant before coming to the police station?"

"Ye Tong, you should know that obstinate resistance is useless. Once you’re here, honestly explain your issues, don’t think that if you stay silent, we can’t do anything about you."
Ye Tong sneered coldly, "I’ve explained everything I should have; as for the people I picked up today, naturally, it was from my assistant’s home."
"Where is your assistant’s home?"
As the interrogation officer reached this point, a voice suddenly came through the headphones, "Ye Tong’s witnesses have arrived. They prove that Ye Tong was resting in the hotel and did not leave during the time of the incident."
The interrogation officer’s face looked somewhat displeased, he glanced deeply at Ye Tong, "Ye Tong, you can go."

The people coming to testify for Ye Tong were the hotel owner and waiter.

"Alright. Don’t tell Da Jun about this. After all, it’s the girl’s privacy, and besides, she’s an actress, it’d be bad if it gets exposed."
Ah Ying’s eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at Ye Tong, then quickly nodded.
She lowered her voice and asked, "Really? What did she act in?"
"I heard it’s an upcoming drama called ’Beauty’, you can watch it yourself then."
In Xiao Kong’s coaxing, Ah Ying no longer doubted his and Ji Ning’s identity, instead, she focused her curiosity on Ye Tong.
Nearing evening.
The group drove to a restaurant for dinner and reserved a private room.
Ye Tong personally poured Ah Ying a drink and thanked her for her help. Ah Ying felt a bit flustered and blurted out, "Well, can you give me an autograph?"
