Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer Chapter 46

Christopher moved his gaze over the tamed dogs and chuckled:

"I seem to forget how exciting this is."

He looked over his shoulder, seeing Lazarus landing steadily on the ground.

"What happened?" he asked, turning his gaze back to the dogs.

"We have a slight problem."

A loud footstep drew the group’s attention.

Christopher turned to the distance, seeing the trees shaking violently.

His eyes widened as whatever the monster was, threw a tree toward them.

Without hesitation, he leaped backward with his beasts.

The huge tree fell heavily on their previous spot, cracking the ground in the process.

Christopher landed on his feet, raising his head to the 70-foot earth golem walking toward them.

"A mythical-stage monster, with a Level 8 combat strength."

Christopher scratched the back of his head in realization:

"I forgot we’re in the red zone... Not the green. Well."

He looked up at Lazarus, Lucas, and his twenty beasts:

"When has that ever stopped us?!" He leaped into the air, landing steadily on Lazarus’s head, folding his arms.

<"Human?! What a lovely surprise!">

The golem spoke, its voice deep and loud.

Christopher sneered at it.

"So monsters are far more stupid than I thought."

He stretched out his hand toward the golem and yelled:

"Lazarus! Use [Eyes of Frost], Lucas! Use [Claws of Retribution], dogs! Use [Darkness Beam], lions! Use [Flame Bolts]!"

All 22 beasts instantly sprang into action; Lazarus sent a powerful blast, which instantly iced the golem into a sculpture, while Lucas disappeared, moving around the golem while striking with such speed that she left afterimages behind. The dogs and lions opened their mouths and released torrents of dark and golden fire, which accurately collided with the iced golem, shattering it into pieces.

Christopher lowered his hand as the golem’s body fell heavily to the ground.

"That was easy," Lucas said, appearing beside him.

"Not quite; earth golems don’t go down that easily. Don’t forget we have to kill it at least 10 times before it can finally be killed... But thankfully, I know how to stop it."

Before the beasts, Christopher shot toward the golem’s shattered body.

He landed on the head and moved his gaze around the place... Christopher smirked, seeing a small-looking stone among the piles of earth and ice. Without wasting even a second, he shot toward it and quickly picked it up from the ground, shooting into the sky.

The stones, which were about to merge together, instantly fell back to the ground.

"Being smart and knowing things beforehand is truly helpful."

Christopher tossed the stone in his hand, and with a clench, he destroyed it. After a few seconds, Christopher opened his palm and blew away the dust and sand, revealing a silver core.

"Powerful tamers will kill for this, and even a normal person can become rich just by selling it. Let me guess, maybe it’s worth $10,000,000...?"

He brought out his tamer badge and scanned the core.

{Name: Mythical-stage Monster’s Core.}

{Set Price: $15,000,000.}

{Auction Price: Can be sold for up to $1,000,000,000.}

Christopher almost dropped the core in shock, seeing the high amount if auctioned. He looked at the small core, about the size of a baby’s fist, and chuckled to himself...

"I’m already rich, but that isn’t my money... Why don’t I use this opportunity to have more beasts, and even more cores...? Maybe also money; a man can’t do without money, right?"

He stored the core in his ring... One of its advantages: his ring not only stores beasts but also things, as long as it’s not over 1,000 pounds.

"Now I have a total of 11 cores, 10 from the bats I killed, and 1 from this guy."

He turned to his beasts: "Hey guys! What do you say if we hunt some more monsters?!"

The beasts looked at one another and instantly jumped up in joy.

Christopher chuckled at their reply and rubbed his ring; a light flew out and turned into the centipede, standing on his shoulder.

"I see you’re healed; care to join?" he asked with a smile.

The centipede eagerly nodded its head, causing Christopher to laugh out loud.

And so, they went on the hunt, killing and taming any monsters they discovered.

Sylvia sat on the couch, still thinking about why a house was on a hill, and how Christopher built a house on the hill.

A small explosion got her attention; she raised her head to her sister and was stunned, seeing her standing on the other side of the room.

"Sister? How did you get there...?"

Her words trailed off, seeing the light around Vicki.

"Yes, I just leveled up Vicki, a whole stage," Advika said, still in disbelief.

"A whole stage? Are you saying Vicki is now an elite beast?!" Sylvia stood up, staring at Vicki in surprise.

The cat turned back to its non-combat form and lunged toward Advika.

Not expecting the sudden action, Advika fell to the ground, with Vicki licking her face.

"Aww... So cute," Sylvia said with dreamy eyes, momentarily forgetting her current location.

The three stopped playing and looked at one another in confusion:

"Who’ll be knocking?" Sylvia asked in mild confusion.

"Don’t know... But if it’s Chris, there’s no need for him to knock," Advika said, getting up from the ground.

Sylvia walked toward the window and slowly moved the curtains; what she saw made her tremble in fear... She was so horrified that she moved backward.

Advika looked down at Vicki and calmly walked up to her sister.

"What is it, Sylvia?" she asked in mild confusion.

Sylvia pointed at the door, still trembling...

"Don’t open it, don’t, or we’ll all die."

Advika raised an eyebrow but still walked toward the window... She looked back at Sylvia, then at Vicki, and with a deep breath, she slowly opened the curtains.

Advika instantly froze, seeing the one knocking on the door.
