Return of the Youngest Son with SSS-Rank Talent Chapter 101

After leaving the bamboo forest, with the spine-like sword on his back and completely soaked, Kael returned to the mansion; there was still someone left who had to pay to leave everything behind.

And that person was Scarlett, the mother of Jasper, his beloved older brother.

Upon entering, with an indifferent expression, he wet the floor with as much blood as water droplets.

As he made his way through the lonely corridors, he got his bearings, thinking about where Jasper’s mother might be hiding. Since the mansion was so large, there were many places to search.

Kael went through several rooms, searching quickly, then through the main hall and other areas. However, Scarlett was nowhere to be found, not even a trace of her.

"She’s hiding pretty well..." he muttered calmly as he continued his search. He couldn’t leave that woman alive, as she would only cause him trouble in the future. He was also trying to figure out what was happening in the city.

Kael had planned to leave the mountain before getting caught in the blockade formed by the infiltrated members of the Lion Kingdom and the Holy Empire, who intended to kill all the citizens and members of the great families who were on Kiran Mountain at that time.

Their goal was to weaken the kingdom of Aragon as much as possible. Therefore, with the fall of the Medici clan, it would be a major blow to the kingdom, losing one of its great counts, who were a pillar of the kingdom.

Kael continued forward, letting his thoughts flow rapidly, discarding any idea that wasn’t effective enough for the current situation, which was escalating more and more.

Raindrops pounded against the window, and the darkness in the corridors grew deeper and deeper. Outside, in the garden, you could see several corpses, including silver wolves, lightning boars, and servants who had not been lucky enough to escape.

Kael, running at full speed, scanned the surroundings, seeing servants of both the Medici Clan and the great families, mutilated and on the verge of death, clinging to life like cockroaches.

He simply glanced at them and ignored their pleas for help as he searched the large mansion for his brother’s mother. And with that, he would finish closing this cycle.

Until he finally heard murmurs coming from one of the rooms located in the deepest, most hidden part of the place.

Kael stopped to listen more closely, making sure he was in the right place. He sharpened his senses.

"Are you sure we’ll survive here? Those explosions we hear outside... It doesn’t look like we stand much of a chance."

"Don’t worry. The elders of the clan and their families are stabilizing the situation. We just have to hold on and pray to the Ancient Sun God."

"By the way... Aren’t you worried about your son? One of the young masters will likely take advantage of this chaos to eliminate his competition."

"Don’t worry. My son is already rank 8. Besides, the other young masters are busy fighting the wild beasts. So the chances of you dying are very slim. Besides, he’s no longer my son after suffering such humiliation."

The door burst open, making a loud noise that startled everyone in the room.

Inside, they saw a young man with long black hair, eyes as black as night, dressed in a black Taoist robe that gave off a strong smell of blood, and on his back was a sword made from a spine.

Everyone knew who that young man was, and they couldn’t help but shiver with fear; it was as if death itself had come to visit them.

Scarlett, who was the first to recover from the shock, spoke cautiously, as she did not know why he had appeared.

"Kael... How did you find us?"

A brief silence filled the air until Kael let out a contemptuous snort.

"You think they were well hidden? In a mansion full of eyes..." His tone dripped with irony before he continued. "The Inner Elders sent me. The situation is already under control... My father arrived and restored order."

Kael turned around and left the room without saying another word.

This caused her previous distrust to diminish a little. Besides, what he had said carried weight, because Scarlett knew that there was no truly secret place in the mansion, so her defenses lowered a little.

But she still didn’t fully trust him. She looked at the other people in her circle and motioned for them to follow Kael.

They began to follow Kael, who walked in front of them without even glancing at them. This reassured Scarlett a little because this was the attitude he always maintained, which gave more credibility to the words he had spoken earlier.

As they advanced, they began to hear the sound of wild beasts more and more, but seeing the back of the young man walking calmly, they didn’t think too much of it and just kept walking.

Kael, who was ahead of them, looked around calmly, searching for a way out of the mansion.

After about five minutes, they left the mansion. From where they stood, the city was not in sight, but the wild beasts had already arrived at that place: both silver wolves and lightning boars.

And he turned around. His eyes, as dark as the abyss, fixed on the visibly nervous group, which unconsciously took a step back.

Before they could scream, run, or even process what was happening, Kael had already moved. His figure vanished for an instant, and when he reappeared, it was all over.

One by one, their bodies collapsed to the ground.

There were no screams, no resistance. Just a blink... and then silence.

The air grew heavy. Time seemed to stand still.

Scarlett, on her knees, tried to get up, but her limbs wouldn’t respond. Dizziness clouded her senses, and her vision began to fade. She barely managed to lift her head.

Kael watched her from above, his face expressionless, without a hint of emotion. His black, empty eyes looked at her as if she were nothing more than still-warm trash.

She felt nauseous. Not from fear. But from humiliation. Because deep down, she understood that she never had a chance.

She wanted to say something, insult him, curse him, spit at him. But she couldn’t even do that.

She had no strength left. She had no will left.

The last thing she saw was Kael’s shadow cutting across the light behind her and the rain that was still falling...

And then everything went black.
