After one sip, Lu Zhen felt his body fill with energy. It even stirred the fire superpower inside his core. He realized that this tea could also affect, and probably enhance their superpowers.
Thus, he encouraged Leng Pan to drink hers. Taking a sip, Leng Pan also felt her body fill with energy and her core also expand a little.
This tea or whatever it was seemed to be tailor-made for superpower users. How did that AI know about this? Could it be that this mansion was built with superpowers in mind by whoever designed it?
The two didn’t have time to think so much as they finished drinking the tea, power surged within them.
They both sat cross-legged on the sofa and started to meditate. They could feel the power flowing throughout their bodies. Somehow, the energy inside their power cores seemed to be crystalizing and becoming more stable.
After meditating for an unknown amount of time, the two opened their eyes and exhaled. Feeling their entire bodies relax, they looked at each other and smiled.
They had gained a lot by taking the gamble to come into the space and drank a cup of tea.
"It looks like everything in this place is extraordinary." Leng Pan commented.
"That’s true. It seems our superpowers still have more layers we haven’t explored." Lu Zhen agreed with his wife.
"Mmm..." Leng Pan replied.
They had thought that after advancing, they were already strong, but after this experience, they realized that there was more they didn’t know.
Even Leng Pan who had read the book didn’t know that the superpower energy could be crystalized to make it more stable.
Now their power had, in some way, upgraded. Their attack power should have increased and the time their reserve power could last had also increased.

The weapons in the hands of the humans were so advanced that Leng Pan had never seen anything like it. Not even in the futuristic movies she had watched before.

Fireballs, fire arrows, water pillars, ice blades, snowflakes shaped like ninja weapons, earth spikes, boiling magma, wind blades, lightning bolts, and many other superpower energies swept the battlefield chaotically.
Leng Pan couldn’t even tell who was enemy, who was foe, who the ally was, and what the hell was happening.
All of a sudden, a surge of water mist mixed with thousands of small fire needles swept towards the side with many monsters and zombies.
Wherever this mist and fire needles past, lives disappeared like smoke. Creatures were falling to the ground in the hundreds at a time.
What made Leng Pan surprised was that there were humans among that group of monsters and zombies. They were attacking the other humans on the other side.
This was one of the reasons Leng Pan was confused. Shouldn’t all the humans be united fighting those monsters and zombies?
Then why were there some humans on the same side as those disgusting creatures?
Leng Pan didn’t get an answer as several humans who looked like leaders because they were wearing a different attire from the rest in the group of monsters and zombies shouted for retreat.

Leng Pan watched as his body turned into mist and evaporated.
The other leaders on his side didn’t even look at him as they urged the others to retreat.
Some of the zombies also made loud unintelligible sounds as if calling for something and the other zombies stopped attacking and started to leave in a hurry.
The monsters were the same. While some perished in that layer of mist infused with fire needles, others retreated and soon the large army of hundreds of thousands disappeared into the horizon.
This was the most devastating situation Leng Pan had ever seen, even in movies.
The people who died on that battlefield within a short amount of time were uncountable. And this was the situation on both sides.
As she was looking at the surviving humans starting to clean up the battlefield, she suddenly heard panicking voices calling.
"Commander Leng...commander Leng..."
Another voice interjected, "I’ll take her to the infirmary for an infusion. She just exhausted her superpower." That voice jolted Leng Pan awake before she could take a closer look.
But she didn’t think she needed to do so. That was definitely Lu Zhen’s voice. She would remember it anywhere, anytime.
When Lu Zhen felt the person next to him shoot up like a catapult, he woke up and immediately held her tightly in his arms.
"Baby, what’s wrong?" He asked with a hoarse voice as he had just been woken up.
