Leng Pan took away almost three quarters of all the boxes in the warehouse.
When the vehicles were ready, they would take a very small part of what was left and the other products would be left for any other survivors who might come looking for skin care products later.
The team had many members and most of them were superpower users with more strength than ordinary humans, so within two hours, they had everything ready.
The boxes they would take were then carefully arranged in the vehicles they had made and tied with ropes to prevent them from tipping over and scattering on the ground on their way home.
"Now, how do we get them out of here?" Momo placed her hands on her hips and looked at Leng Pan like a clown.
They had been so preoccupied with collecting the supplies that they forgot they were literally buried underground now.
The others became stupified when they heard the question.
Yes, they had come in through the roof and even sealed the entrance once inside to prevent zombies from intrusion while they were collecting the supplies.
However, now they needed to leave but there was no exit.
Moreover, with snow blocking every door and window, that route was practically impossible to use.
At that moment, Lu Zhen’s voice echoed in everyone’s ears.
"We will leave through the door."
"And pray tell, how exactly are we going to do that genius?" Ouyang Jin was still familiar with Lu Zhen and didn’t fear him like many people did.
They were friends from the other earth in the ancient era and wasn’t afraid of offending him.
Well, as long as it didn’t involve Leng Pan.
Whoever dared to hurt his baby girl would not have an easy life, friend or foe.
"What are the superpowers we all have for? Do they only need to be used in battles with zombies?" Lu Zhen asked his friend while looking at him as if he was the most idiotic person in the universe.
"Hey, you don’t have to look at me like that. Besides, I haven’t seen you use your fire ability for anything else apart from burning zombies and aliens." Ouyang Jin complained softly.
The others looked at Lu Zhen as if he was an alien, while Leng Pan and Momo had already gone to check the situation at the door.
The two of them were used to the banter between those two men. They had only been reserved before because they hadn’t seen each other in a long time.
Now that they had gotten familiar once again through daily training and the battle they had just engaged in with the zombies on the surface, their familiarity had returned and they were now back to being frenemies.
While Ouyang Jin grumbled about Lu Zhen showing off his intelligence, he still followed behind him to check what Leng Pan and Momo had discovered.
Sonny, always quiet, walked behind the two with slow steps but he seemed to be able to keep a constant distance between them, as if the steps were carefully calculated.
No one except Leng Pan knew that Sonny was a very skilled reconnaissance agent.
He had trained in the ancient earth that was filled with cutting edge technology to become a spy that even the best devices would miss.
He was a necessary member of the team and a leader, but his presence was so low that no one would notice him, if he didn’t want to be noticed.
That was why even though he was at that moment behind Lu Zhen and Ouyang Jin, everyone seemed to ignore his existence and only noticed the quarreling duo.
This skill was quite similar to Vanish’s superpower. Except that with Vanish, he would physically disappear when his superpower is activated while Sonny would seem to disappear even when he was present.
Only when someone consciously sought him out would they notice his presence.
Like at that moment, Leng Pan turned around to search the crowd and finally spotted him right at the front just behind her husband.
She gave him a look and with that, his presence lessened even further.
He mixed with those pushing the carts made from the boards obtained from the dismantled shelves and blended in.
Lu Zhen stood beside his wife and placed his hand on the tightly locked metal door.
Within a few seconds, the ice coating the door melted both in the inside and outside.
He then yanked the door and it opened.
On the outside of the door, there was a solid wall of ice blocking the way. It wasn’t just loose snow, but solid ice that needed carving to allow them to move an inch.
Lu Zhen stood there for a while and calculated the size of the passage that would allow the carts to pass through unhindered, then turned his super heat into a lazer-like blade.
He was aware that they could not follow a straight path for long, but at least, they would be able to go as far as possible without attracting too much attention if they passed through a tunnel underground.
With that thought, Lu Zhen cut a straight line on one side, then another that was at a ninety degree angle perpendicular to the first one.
After cutting two more and separating the chunk of ice in the middle with the rest of the wall, Leng Pan placed a hand on it and like a queen, commanded the water molecules in the ice block.
Soon, everyone witnessed as the ice began to melt and turn into water that somehow disappeared without a trace soon after.
As the ice melted further out, a clean tunnel appeared in front of them and Lu Zhen gave the order.
"Let’s go."
He then took his wife’s hand and the two took the lead and entered the tunnel first.
To everyone’s surprise, the tunnel was very stable. Even though they were pulling heavy carts piled up with boxes of skincare products on top of the ice, it showed no signs of cracking or shifting.
