You can’t fill the entire bottle because a drug like that would certainly be scarce." Leng Pan advised as she got up and headed to the kitchen to fill three bottles of water with spiritual spring water.
She had never gone through the apocalypse before and only knew everything she was expecting from the novel, however, from other apocalypse novels she had read, she knew that drinking it and eating something miraculous before the onset of the apocalypse increases the chances of survival.
She was falling deeper in love with Lu Zhen and she didn’t want some of his family members to die or turn into zombies.
That would break his heart and she couldn’t let that happen. Therefore, she took three half-liter bottles of mineral water and emptied them before refilling them with spiritual spring water.
Once she was done, she walked out of the kitchen and met with Lu Zhen who had come to see if she was done.
"Did you find any vitamin tablets that don’t have an obvious scent?" Leng Pan asked as soon as she saw her husband.

The bottle was brown and almost translucent. Leng Pan placed the bottles of water on the dining table near the kitchen and opened the medicine bottle.
Seeing the tablets inside, she was satisfied and closed it then gave it back to Lu Zhen.
She then picked up the water bottles and headed towards the door.
"Let’s go and make every member of our small family apocalypse ready."
When he heard what his wife said, Lu Zhen shook his head with a smile and followed after her.
He was happy that she had accepted all his family members as her own and was willing to do her best for them. His heart at that moment swelled with warmth and he was glad for whatever that had happened and changed Leng Pan so much.
They walked to the opposite apartment and found the elders in the living room waiting for them.
It was not yet time for dinner although it was almost. However, Leng Pan was not sure if there were any changes to the timeline the book had mentioned.
It was already past five in the afternoon and only an hour or two before the apocalypse started.
She walked over and placed the water bottles on the table then went to the kitchen and came back with three large mugs.
Lu Zhen who was sitting on a one-person sofa saw her bring the mugs and opened the medicine bottle. Pouring out all three pills, he put a pill in each mug and took the water bottles to fill the three cups.
Once he was done, he gave one cup to his mother while Leng offered the other two to uncle Li and aunt Li.
The three elders had been observing their peculiar actions since they came in and had not yet understood what was happening.
Looking at the water in the cup where the medicine had already dissolved, they didn’t know what to do.
Moreover, these children had been gone for only an hour or less and after appearing again they looked like different people.
If not for having given birth to Lu Zhen and raising him, Li Yunjia might have suspected that he had been switched.

Leng Pan stood beside him and almost passed out trying to hold back her laughter.
The kind of pain she had experienced was described as a slight discomfort by her husband.
She wondered what the elders would think after experiencing it themselves.
She couldn’t wait to watch a good show.
