As soon as she was done, she heard movement outside the room and looked towards the door. Lu Zhen was standing there looking at her with a warm smile.
"Did you decide to create a gym here?" He asked as he eyed the workout machines in the room.
"Yes, we can’t just train our abilities and neglect our physical condition. There is a limit to how much the physical body can endure.
If our bodies do not match our superpower abilities, they will be overwhelmed and become tired. It’s like overloading a vehicle. It will wear down faster.
So, it’s important to improve our physical strength as we enhance our superpowers." She explained her reasoning.
This was actually her theory as nothing was mentioned in the book. But she believed that her thoughts were right. Practicing their abilities already made them tired, and it was only the first day. If they didn’t have the spiritual spring water, they might be even worse.
How could such a situation not wear down the body? So, it was reasonable to think that using superpower repeatedly without the right body condition to support it might cause problems.
"You are right. From tomorrow morning we will wake up early to workout and improve our strength. I will have to include that boy Lu Tao as well.

He could feel the fatigue his body experienced every time he used his ability. He knew that it was because he was just starting and hadn’t gotten used to it, but even so, any type of activity needed a strong body to support it.
Therefore, he had to work harder to improve his physical fitness. Besides, bothe of them being fit could also enhance their intimacy as they could last longer.

After a day of training, Lu Zhen had an understanding of controlling superpower energy. So, he thought he could guide his brother for the time being.
"Lu Tao, come with me." He left Leng Pan who was engrossed in talking about making clothes with his mother and walked towards the first guestroom where his brother’s room was.
"Tell me about your progress." He asked as soon as they were inside the door.
He walked to the sofa in the room and sat down.
Lu Tao was actually not useless. Even though this was the first time he had a superpower and didn’t know much about using it, he had still made progress.
"I can’t do much, but I can now tune out the noise in the distance. I thought about what sister-in-law said and after trying it out, I realized that using it in the opposite direction was more effective.
So, instead of trying to tune out those close to me, I started with those who are far and their voices are more vague.
I can now tune those out if I don’t want to listen to them." Lu Tao said while holding his breath.
He wasn’t stupid. He knew that his ability was inconveniencing his brother’s marital life. If he could, he also wanted to be able to get rid of the voices quickly.
He thought he was lucky to have gained the ability amidst disaster as not many people were engaging in unsavory activities. Otherwise, he didn’t know what he would do if he had to listen to people doing the deed the whole night.
"That’s good, work harder and if you feel uncomfortable while practicing, come to me or your sister-in-law for advice. Don’t shoulder everything alone.
Also, tomorrow morning wake up earlier and go to our apartment. We will start working out to train our bodies’ strength so that it could match our abilities." Lu Zhen was actually surprised that his brother had made such progress without guidance.
He was proud of him and even though he was an inconvenience, he was still happy.
Although Leng Pan had never said anything about what happened to his family in their previous lives, he could already guess from the way she had avoided that topic completely.
