After exchanging a few more words, they finally ended the call. Bai Yaoyao snapped out of her shock and began hopping on the spot. She grabbed her hair, staring at the wall in shock. “Bai Yaoyao, are you still in bed? It’s already half-past seven. I’ll be there in twenty minutes. Pack up now, or you’ll be late.”
Bai Yaoyao snapped out of her daze and brushed through her hair. She stared at the clock and wondered if it was really half past seven already. She hadn’t had such good sleep in a long while. She slept so soundly last night that she didn’t even wake up in the middle of the night at all.
She hurriedly got up and entered the bathroom to wash up. While brushing her teeth, a thought suddenly popped up in her mind—with someone keeping her company, she had less time to think about Xirong Ziye. Her heartache had also reduced drastically.

Duan Yanhao opened the door and got out of the car. Looking at Bai Yaoyao, he raised his brows coldly and shook his head. “We’re going to the mountains later. You’ll shiver and feel cold in that outfit. If you don’t want to catch a cold, go back and wear something warmer.”
Bai Yaoyao lowered her head and looked at herself. “I think it’s fine. I don’t feel cold at all.”
“Do you want to change your clothes, or should I help you?”
