As dawn broke after a lengthy night, the sun ascended in the sky, and two individuals eagerly anticipated the arrival of their order. Rey and Evan were the duo in question, both awaiting the delivery with bated breath. However, Rey's situation was unique; coerced into waiting by Aiden, with all his money on the line, he couldn't afford the luxury of impatience.
Upon informing his mother and teacher about his illness today, he was granted leave. However, his mother instructed his younger sister to monitor him, preventing any chance of escape. After negotiating with his sister and offering some of her favorite snacks, she consented to let him leave for an hour, which was precisely what he desired.
At correct 1:00 pm he left the house and arrived at the place where he gets to know that the person was going to appear.
"Are you certain he'll show up, Aiden, or is he going to leave us hanging? I'm really worried about losing my money," Rey expressed, concern lacing his voice as he spoke to Aiden. Meanwhile, Aiden surveyed their surroundings with a keen eye, anticipating the arrival of the person they were waiting for to deliver the goods.
"Quiet, you crybaby. Don't fret; from what I've seen, I doubt the website will bail on us, so relax and give me the time," Aiden said, scanning their surroundings.
"It's about 1:09 pm. I reckon they'll be here in a few more minutes," Rey replied, glancing at his wristwatch.
"Quick, put your mask on, boy. I see two people heading our way from different directions, which means we're either surrounded or there's another customer who bought the same product," Aiden warned.
Rey swiftly donned his mask and pulled the hood over his head, concealing his identity as they waited until 1:15 pm.
One guy come with two things, one a large suitcase and next a small box on the suitcase. He walked up to his place and stand there for two minutes until the other guy came and approached him.
"Are you 'Dragon Knight 0x0'." The delivery man said and pushed the bigger bag toward him but the other guy stayed in his place staring at him.
"No, I am the 'Cosmic Warrior,' and I only have one product, which isn't very large, so I believe the smaller one is mine, not this one," said Evan, who approached from the other side. He handed over 800 Dracins, took the package, opened it, and discovered a modified blade attached to a wristband. This blade could be extended with a single button on the band's surface. After inspecting the product, he nodded in approval and walked away. After he left the area did Rey came out and start walking toward the delivery guy.
When the delivery saw him, he got a smile like he finds his lost friend and even step toward him to meet him.
'Ah, sh*t how I am going to talk with him now as I can't speak with Aiden in front of him.' Rey thought while looking at Aiden.
"I can hear you words boy so listen up closely and only said what I say." Aiden said and start floating on his side.
"Sir are you the one named, 'Dragon Knight 0x0', the owner of this suitcase." Said the delivery guy.

"Yes, I am the one. Here are 8500 Dracins; now, please hand over my items as I am in a hurry," Rey reiterated Aiden's words.
"Of course, sir, as you wish. I prefer to conduct my business without any nonsense," the delivery man replied, attempting to flatter Rey despite his intimidating appearance, cloaked in a hoodie with his face obscured.
"Let's dispense with the small talk and proceed with the transaction," Rey commanded in a detached tone.
"Certainly, sir," the man responded, sliding the suitcase towards Rey. He accepted the money, verified the amount, and then stepped back, allowing Rey time to inspect the contents. Once satisfied, Rey secured the case and departed.
"Sir, please wait. Could you listen to me for a moment?" the man said, attempting to halt his departure.
"What is it that you want now?" Rey inquired, his voice tinged with irritation.
"My apologies for the interruption, sir, but may I inquire about your plans for these items?" the man asked, his voice measured and cautious.
"I think you have a policy not to interfere with the customer privacy right so what the hell are you doing right now." Rey said with some loud voice.
"Sorry sir for my question but I have a proposal for and that is that I can help you in this and you just have to give me about 10% of the profit in this." The guy said with a smirk.
'With these items, I doubt he'll settle for small fry. And if I snag just 10%, that's at least a hundred thousand, if not millions of Dracins,' he mused, the smile unwavering on his face.
"No, I don't need any assistance. Don't bother me again, or you'll only have yourself to blame for what comes next," Rey warned in a menacing tone, leaving the man in a state of shock.
After leaving the place did settle on his place and pull down the cap of his hoodie and his mask and breath out the air he was holding while walking away in fear of getting attacked from behind but it never came.
"Aiden remarked, "You performed exceptionally well today; your act was so convincing that I couldn't tell if it was you or someone else."
After their conversation, they returned home at 1:46 pm. Following a brief rest, Rey headed to his workplace at 2:30 pm to put in some additional hours for extra earnings.
As for what the future holds for them, it remains unseen, known only to time itself.
