Just as Kaizen was about to ask where the monsters of the Light Lands were, he saw less than five meters ahead a one-meter long maggot crawling along the sides of a floating obelisk.
This little creature had black fur, three honeycomb-like yellow eyes without a pupil, and a mouth that looked like a fleshy straw.
"What's that?" Frowning, Kaizen inquired.
"That's what we've come to farm. This monster is called Star Maggot is the only living thing that can be found wandering around the Light Lands. No other monster or Boss can be found here, so it's a farm area."
"Star Larva, isn't it? What a disgusting monster..."

"Yes, once with my girlfriend. This time, I acted as her support and we split the experience we received, but we killed enough to evolve two levels each in a few hours."
"Okay, so my goal is to have you evolve two levels in half an hour. What do you think?" Kaizen smiled confidently.
"That I want to see." Jayaa stated, placing his hands on his waist.
That being the case, Kaizen removed his beloved Cursed Old Bow from his inventory and said:
"All I will use to kill these little worms will be this."
Watching his teammate hold the beaten bow, the bard almost laughed. "If you're confident, hit that Star Larva on the right." He pointed at the target and said.
Kaizen located the pointed Star Larva easily, also equipped his quiver with the brand new arrows he had bought earlier in the evening, and finally aimed his bow and arrow at the creature he aimed to hit. He didn't even have to take a deep breath or close one of his eyes to aim, for this was the kind of thing he didn't have to do to hit it.

The arrow shot out sharply, which made Jayaa's eyes widen in amazement, but in the middle of its trajectory to hit the Star Larva, the shaft of the arrow suddenly quivered and bent 90 degrees, which caused its trajectory to completely transform. If before it was following an almost certain path, now it was clear that it would not hit.
"Ha! Kaizen, you need to release the arrow while noticing the larva's movement, trying to predict the position it will be in so that it can't deflect your shot like it did now." Jayaa scoffed, because the arrow didn't even pass close to the creature.

The arrow was spinning on its own axis and was making a turn that should not have been possible.
As the bard's jaw dropped, his eyes came to the point where they almost popped out of their sockets, as the arrow hit the target monster squarely.

Kaizen didn't stop to brag with a mere slaughter, he needed more than that to prove that he could achieve his goal of making Jayaa evolve two levels in half an hour.

He listened to the warnings one after another as he shot arrows in the direction of the various Star Larvae.
Since the duo was in a farming region, finding the Star Larvae was as easy as breathing, because the emergence rate of this monster had two primary factors. The first was the amount of creatures per square meter and the second was the time to death. In this way, the farming mechanics of the region adapted to the level of who was farming in it.
For example, if the Star Larvae were being killed with multiple hits, this indicated that it was difficult for players to kill them, so there was a drop in the spawn rate. Incidentally, if the opposite happened, that the Star Larvae were being killed by a single hit, the game detected this, and from then on many more such monsters would appear at an accelerated rate.
Since most of Kaizen's hits were critical and his strength was far above any Star Larvae, a dozen of them appeared after another.
In less than ten minutes, Jayaa already heard the first level-up warning, which made him regain consciousness. He was watching Kaizen play so intently that he didn't even realize he was standing in the same place.
Despite being a player with little combat experience, Jayaa knew many good players from frequenting various areas around the Royal City, but there was no archer as good as Kaizen, who could not miss a shot. Mastering archery in Rise Online was difficult, especially for those who didn't have the Archer Class or something related to aiming, which made Kaizen into someone even more impressive in Jayaa's eyes.
