Klaus was surprised to see Ashley waiting for him outside the dormitory, especially considering the freezing cold wind that night. He approached her with a look of curiosity and concern.
"Ashley, what are you doing out here? It's so cold!" Klaus asked, crossing his arms to protect himself from the freezing weather.
Ashley smiled warmly at Klaus, but her look was a mixture of determination and concern. "Klaus, I had to talk to you. Something important has happened and I thought it would be best if we talked before tomorrow's exam."

Ashley took a deep breath before she answered. "Do you remember what you told me at the camp? It seems that things are getting more serious. Klaus felt a bit of anger when he heard Ashley's words. He had hoped that the incident at the camp had solved the problem, but it seemed that things were far from over.

Klaus and Ashley quickly separated, feeling their faces blush with embarrassment. Klaus tried to act natural despite the embarrassment he felt. "Don't worry, Orkoi. Everything is fine. It just took us by surprise, that's all."
Ashley, trying to regain her composure, smiled awkwardly at Riley.
As Riley walked away, Klaus and Ashley were silent for a moment, trying to process the unexpected interruption. Then they both let out a nervous laugh, sharing a moment of relief and complicity.
"He's not going to tell anyone, is he?" Ashley inquired.
"Well, I hope not. I don't know him very well," Klaus said, running his hand through her hair. "Why? Would it be a problem if other people found out about us?"
Ashley looked into Klaus' eyes, held his hand tenderly and sighed, feeling a mixture of fear and determination.
"It's not that I'm ashamed to be with you, Klaus. It's just that... we're still getting to know each other, and things could get complicated if everyone finds out so soon," she explained, choosing her words carefully. "I want to make sure that what we have is real before we expose ourselves completely."
Klaus nodded, understanding her concern. He knew that they needed to give it time and strengthen their relationship before exposing themselves to the scrutiny of others. He brought Ashley's hand to his lips and planted a soft kiss on his fingers.
"I completely understand, Ashley. I was just joking with you. You don't have to take everything I say so seriously. Let's keep it between us for now," he said, conveying his unconditional support. "What matters is how we feel about each other, not what others think."
Ashley smiled, grateful to have found someone as understanding as Klaus. She knew she had made the right choice in trusting him and embarking on this romance.
