Rise Online: Return of the Legendary Player Chapter 849

Voices echoed in the chamber amid the silence that followed the epic battle.

Kaizen looked at each of his friends, seeing the determination and also the fear in their eyes.

"Jayaa is right," Kaizen began, his firm, determined voice echoing through the destroyed room. "We didn't come all this way just to retreat in the face of the next challenge. We have to uncover the truth behind Týr, and that means moving forward, even if it's dangerous."

Og'tharoz nodded, his demonic aura pulsing slightly as he prepared for the next step. "We are on this journey together, whatever fate awaits us. We have no more time to lose."

Alina sighed deeply and looked at Kaizen.

"Do you know what you're doing?" She asked, her voice laden with concern.

Kaizen nodded slowly. "I understand the risks, Alina. But if we really want to find answers about Týr and stop the Emperor of Mist, we can't back down now. I believe that all of us, together, are strong enough to face any challenge."

Og'tharoz supported Kaizen, his expression serious. "We can't let our fears paralyze us. If we want to find a god like Týr, we need to act."

Xisrith crossed her arms, still uncertain. "What if there's a trap? The Emperor could be waiting for us."

Andrew looked around, assessing the situation. "We have to be strategic. We can't just run, or fly, to the Palace without a solid plan."

Jayaa looked at each of them, her face determined. "If we go, we go together. But we can't stay here too long. The dark elves could recover and attack us again at any moment."

After a brief moment of tense silence, Kaizen looked at the assembled group. "So that's it. We're heading for the Mist Palace. Be prepared for anything."

The group advanced up the steps of the Iron Fortress, leaving behind the trail of destruction and victory they had conquered.

The defeated dark elves lay in the corridors, mute witnesses to the skill and courage of those who were now approaching the Mist Palace.

Xisrith, the voice of reason in the group, raised the question. "The Palace must be protected by powerful magic and trained guards. We need a plan of attack."

Kaizen agreed, knowing that impulsiveness could be fatal at this point. "We need information before we act. Alina, can you detect the Mist Emperor's location? Jayaa, can you scour the guards' minds with your music for information?"

Alina closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating on her detection magic. "I can feel the presence of an evil energy coming from the center of the Palace. That must be where the Emperor is."

Jayaa took a deep breath, preparing to use his mind reading skills. "Ah, man... I can try, but they're elves, it's hard."

Andrew then approached Kaizen with a serious expression. "Kaizen, I know you want to face the Emperor directly, but we should consider all the options. Perhaps there is a way to weaken the Palace's defenses before a direct confrontation."

Kaizen pondered Andrew's words for a moment. He knew that prudence was essential, especially when facing an enemy as powerful as the Emperor of Mist. "Andrew, do you have any idea how we could weaken the Palace's defenses?"

Andrew scratched his chin, thinking of possibilities. "We could exploit the Palace's natural weaknesses, it's just a skull on top of a mountain, there shouldn't be any complex security systems, we could go over the top."

Xisrith nodded, seeing the value of these suggestions. "That could work."

Kaizen looked at the group, sensing the confidence and commitment emanating from each of them. "We'll split up into teams and work together. They mustn't know about you, so Og'tharoz and I will lead the way and you'll show up when you feel the opportunity is right."

Each step was marked by palpable tension between the members of the group. Kaizen led the vanguard, his confident stance contrasting with the worry in Alina's eyes and Xisrith's caution.

Og'tharoz remained silent, his determination reflected in the way he concentrated.

When they finally found a way out of the prison, it was like a balcony in the middle of the mountains and had an incredible view of the gorge and the white sea that Niflheim looked like at this altitude.

A guard was smoking a cigarette on the balcony, taking advantage of the fact that the wind was milder and smoking was forbidden inside the prison so as not to melt the ice on the walls. Imagine his surprise when he heard footsteps, turned around and saw three humans, a demon, a descendragon and a half elf.

The guard's jaw dropped and so did the cigarette resting on his lips.

Kaizen looked at him and with a crack of ten knocked him unconscious, then Jayaa dragged him to the edge of the balcony and threw him into the gorge.

"That was cruel, man." Andrew said to Jayaa.

"What? It's just easy XP, man!" Jayaa tried to explain himself, but he also put his hand on his conscience and saw how horrible his attitude was, so he approached the edge of the balcony and shouted into the gorge: "Sorry! Don't haunt my dreams!"

Everyone laughed at Jayaa and looked up. The mountain still continued for hundreds of meters until it became invisible in the middle of the night sky.

"Please, everyone who can't fly, please stay close to me." Kaizen said, and then Andrew, Xisrith and Jayaa approached him. "I'll take you to a part of the mountain that's close to the palace, then you'll act on your own."

They all agreed with a nod, without complaining or blinking, and then Kaizen enveloped them with his psychic aura to lift and control them.

Og'tharoz and Alina accompanied them when they finally began to fly, both with their own magical abilities.
