71: Chapter 72: Underestimated Her (3)
The little guy had hardly left the restaurant when he turned around and climbed up the stairs.
“You just finished eating, slow down,”
Gan Tang cautioned him as she followed, but when he stepped onto the stairs leading to the third floor, she immediately called out to him.
“Xiaojue, don’t run around!”
The little guy stopped in his tracks, “I’m not running around, I want to go see Uncle Huangfu.”
He wasn’t seriously ill, what was there to see?
Gan Yuan pursed her lips, “If you want to go, then go, but I won’t!”
“Acting cute won’t work.”
The little guy turned his head and went upstairs, and Gan Yuan turned to walk towards her own guest room.
She had only taken two steps when she heard a muffled sound followed by a scream from upstairs.
Turning around, she rushed to the third floor, two steps at a time, only to see the little guy standing in the middle of the corridor giving her a mischievous smile.
“You’re going downstairs to take a nap in half an hour.”
Giving her son a roll of her eyes, she dropped the command and turned to go downstairs.
The little guy shrugged helplessly, turned around to check the doors on both sides of the corridor, and his little brows knitted slightly.
“Uncle Huangfu, where are you?”
As he pushed open the double wooden doors directly opposite the corridor, Huangfu Jue stepped out, “Is there something you need?”
“Uncle Will said you weren’t feeling well.
My mommy is really worried about you, so she sent me to come up and check on you.”

“Yeah,” the little guy nodded, “Every time she sees promotional videos of famous French landmarks, she gets lost in thought.

As he reached the edge of the stairs and safely turned into the second-floor corridor, Huangfu Jue turned to go up to the fourth floor.
