He didn’t even need to instruct or design movements and expressions; along the way, his role felt more like that of a recorder.
Whether it was a wide shot or a close-up, a smile or serious, running, turning around… or even the casual silhouette of him bending down to tie his shoes…
All the feelings he needed were found in the little guy, without any pretense.
