As the golden rays shone through the vents and gaps in the thick curtains at the break of dawn, a loud bang followed by an intense earth tremor woke the two lovers with a start. Wen Qinxi had been dreaming of his boss confessing to him in front of the entire GameX staff, which equalled dreaming of rainbows and unicorns when his pink bubble was suddenly burst.
Pissed off, Wen Qinxi rubbed his eyes about to ask Qie Ranzhe what it could be when the man kissed his lips before saying, "It's an M310 rocket launcher. It's President Qie, he's here." Qie Ranzhe immediately got off the bed and got dressed.
Wen Qinxi's face turned pale realising what this was. Someone had spilled the beans and now they were definitely coming after him. "Shit, shit, shit...I will get Feng Xieling out of here," said an anxious Wen Qinxi getting dressed at light speed. He picked up his straight cut denim jeans that had been tossed on the floor last night. Like a bunny, he hopped around trying to wiggle into the jeans that seemed to shrink each time he took them off. While hopping around, another earth tremor followed causing the bed to shake as the crystal bedside lamp shattered to pieces. Wen Qinxi wasn't spared either as he tumbled to the ground cursing. He couldn't help but sympathize with girls when they're trying to get into skinny jeans. 'The struggle is fuckin real,' he thought as he fell into a warm embrace.
Qie Ranzhe had managed to catch him before he kissed the floor. To be honest, the CEO would be incredibly jealous if his lover smooched the floor so he had to catch him. Wen Qinxi was helped up by Qie Ranzhe, his eyes sparkling with tender feelings. In that moment, Wen Qinxi was wondering how he could be this lucky? Qie Ranzhe stooped low facing Feng Zi's crotch and fastened the button with his fingers accidentally or purposefully brushing against Feng Zi's waist.
Wen Qinxi who had just been taken advantage of, shuddered at his touch as a flush crept up his face. This man was just too much. Qie Ranzhe slowly stood up in front of him and caressed his cheek before leaning down to kiss him once more but Wen Qinxi covered his lips with his hand forming a barricade. 'Dage I haven't even brushed my teeth yet and we are under attack. This is no time to be spreading dog food everywhere,' he thought moving backwards to grab his t-shirt.
Qie Ranzhe understood but it didn't mean he would concede. He drew Feng Zi closer and planted a fervent kiss that sent sparks flying in all directions. His hand slid at the back of Feng Zi's neck and deepened the kiss, sucking and nibbling at his lover's soft pink lips that tasted especially sweet. By the time Qie Ranzhe let him go, Wen Qinxi was breathing heavily in a daze after having the life sucked out of him.
Qie Ranzhe stared at him with amorous dark eyes and said, "Get Lin Lin out of here. Ask Machu to go with Airen and I will go and talk to Feng Yu." After saying these words, Qie Ranzhe kissed the man's cheek and strode to the door.
Wen Qinxi watched the man leave with a blank expression like his IQ was sucked out of him leaving only an empty shell. Suddenly the door was opened once more with Qie Ranzhe's head sticking into the room saying, "You better wear a t-shirt," with a glare that could only be described as a warning before a sweet smile quirked upon his face. After that, the door was shut.
The absent-minded Wen Qinxi couldn't get his shit together for a second. It took another earth tremor from another rocket striking the shield surrounding Feng Yu's mansion to wake him up.
Calming his beating heart, Wen Qinxi put on his t-shirt and dashed over to Feng Xieling's room. He was greeted with an unusual scene. Despite all that earth-shaking loud noise, the kid was sleeping like the dead with no care in the world. 'Didn't he hear the loud noise?' thought Wen Qinxi while shaking the boy awake.
Feng Xieling who was suddenly pulled out of candy land, a dreamscape filled with fudge and butterscotch candy, woke up with an aggrieved expression.
"Sorry, but dad had no choice. You have to go with Airen and Machu somewhere safe," said Wen Qinxi putting a cardigan on Feng Xieling. At the break of dawn, the desert was still cold so he had to wrap his bundle of joy.
Feng Xieling was wide awake after hearing his dad mention Airen and Machu but not his dads. "No dad, I want to stay with you... let, let me stay with you," whined a frustrated Feng Xieling who couldn't understand why everyone wouldn't leave them alone. He just wanted to stay with his dads in peace but it seemed someone or something was always going against them.
Wen Qinxi didn't bother listening to Feng Xieling's complaints, if anything happened to this child he would lose his mind. He didn't have time to squabble with the kid over this so he ignored his whining searching for the boy's shoes. Having found them, he set Feng Xieling on the bed and said, "I need you to listen to dad, okay? If anything happens to you, dad will be heartbroken so I have to keep you safe."
Feng Xieling didn't want to go but he had to listen to his dad. He could only cry silently while his dad put on his shoes.
Wen Qinxi carried the little dumpling with the kid's bag in his other hand. Just as he was about to look for Airen, she conveniently showed up so Wen Qinxi didn't hesitate to give Feng Xieling to her. He handed over the bag to Machu and said, "You know what to do," then faced the tear-stained Feng Xieling, "Lin Lin, dad loves you. Be good and not make trouble for Auntie Airen." Wen Qinxi kissed those tear-stained cheeks as the obedient Feng Xieling reluctantly nod his head.
Arien wiped the little boy's tears as they walked towards the Mansion's secret passage that would allow them to slip away without a trace.
Wen Qinxi felt relieved and walked over to the mansion's control room. He got there in time to find Qie Ranzhe apologizing to Feng Yu saying, "It must be my SUV that led them here," seeming remorseful.
Feng Yu who seemed relaxed sank deep into his chair and said, "Hahaha... that's cute. Well, you don't have to worry about it. It's definitely not your SUV."
