A Kiss
Before An Xiaowan looked up, she could already sense Huo Shen’s unmistakable aura.
He had already changed into clean clothes, and his body exuded a refreshing fragrance.
Rather than steadying her footing, she went soft in his embrace and chuckled as she spoke, “Mr. Huo can’t wait to see me?”
Huo Shen did not move away. Instead, he said blandly, “Tall, handsome, rich, and charming?”
“Yes.” An Xiaowan eagerly nodded her head.
Huo Shen was her savior today.
Huo Shen snorted coldly with an abrupt “hmmph”, then dragged An Xiaowan towards the car without a word.
Once in the car, An Xiaowan deliberately leaned closer towards him and smiled. “Why did Mr. Huo come here today?”
The partition was just coming down when Assistant Luo and the driver overheard An Xiaowan’s question and winced.
Why did he come?
Huo Shen, who never liked attending dinner parties, suddenly turned up at one that An Xiaowan was attending, was it just by coincidence or on a whim?
The man’s eyes did not flinch one bit. He squinted ever so slightly, and his handsome face was stiff and cold. “What do you think?”
An Xiaowan blinked.
An Xiaowan observed his icy and imperious demeanor and immediately dismissed the notion that his reasons were anything amorous.
He came just to look for her? That did not seem to be a possibility.
Maybe he happened to be passing by.
After all, this banquet hall holds several banquets in one night.
“Luckily, Mr. Huo happened to pass by and saved me,” An Xiaowan said seriously. “An Xiaowan is deeply grateful.”
An Xiaowan’s words did not move Huo Shen. It was obvious he did not acknowledge her show of appreciation.
At that moment, An Xiaowan suddenly remembered. Huo Shen had previously said that he does not accept insincere apologies. So maybe it was the same with tokens of appreciation.
She thought hard for a few seconds, then leaned forward.
Following which, the towel covering her drenched body fell behind. She had not changed out of her wet gown. Her wet dress clung to her skin, showing off her beautiful curves.
Gazing into the everlasting darkness of his eyes, that handsome and flawless face that was inching closer to her, An Xiaowan’s heart skipped a beat.
Then, she gathered up her courage, leaned towards those thin lips, and kissed him.
She felt a cool and light sensation course through every nerve of her drenched body.
The man who was being kissed was motionless.
An Xiaowan frowned, unsure of how to continue from here. The flush on her cheeks now more evident.
Just as she decided to let go and was about to move her lips away from his, a pair of large hands suddenly pressed on her back, slamming her entire body to his.
Huo Shen cushioned her head in his hands. He relentlessly kissed her soft lips.
Then she felt his tongue piercing through.
His strong response instantly turned a tentative and experimental kiss into a hot passionate one.
She subconsciously closed her eyes and clutched the clothes on his chest.
The more Huo Shen kissed her, the more heated he became. His tongue was trying to rob the sweetness of her lips.
Assistant Luo heard some shuffling behind but did not dare turn his head back. With a quivering hand, he immediately pressed on the control panel to raise the divider.
After some steady maneuvering, the car was parked in the villa.
Huo Shen freed her lips, breathing irregularly.
He tapped on the digital calendar on the dashboard. His deep, dark eyes suddenly froze.
“Mr. Huo… ”
An Xiaowan was out of breath as she dreamily opened her eyes.
She had assumed she was to “pay her dues” and serve the master tonight. She did not expect that before she could regain her senses and react, the man who was passionately kissing her a moment ago would suddenly get out of the car without her.
She felt a strange chill abruptly and shuddered.
