School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master Chapter 277

Looking at Lan Yuqin, Chen Nan’s face was the picture of innocence.

Deliberately performing poorly on a test, who does that?

"Didn’t my foot!" Lan Yuqin glared at him and said, "Then can you explain why, if your Chinese is so good, you did so badly in the other subjects?"

Chen Nan scratched his head, "Yeah, why is that? I’d like to know too!"

"Don’t play dumb with me!"

Lan Yuqin’s beautiful eyes widened, her chest heaving dramatically; she was very angry at the moment. She felt this guy must be good at his studies and had deliberately done poorly on the exams; after all, even a student heavily biased in one subject couldn’t possibly have this severe a disparity!

No wonder the principal said he had excellent grades from the start—it was all true!

Lan Yuqin’s icy gaze fixed on Chen Nan, "You’re not leaving this office today without giving me a reasonable explanation!"

"Then I just won’t leave," Chen Nan shrugged, "With you here, I won’t feel lonely anyway."

Lan Yuqin slapped the desk, "You little jerk, take this seriously!"

"I am serious!" Chen Nan sighed, "I told you back when we were in your dorm, my Chinese is the only good subject, the rest are bad. If you don’t believe me, there’s nothing I can do."

"Who do you think you’re fooling?" Lan Yuqin clearly didn’t believe him, "Take math for an example, out of a total of one hundred and fifty points, you scored four! That’s impossibly low even for the worst students!"

Chen Nan felt helpless.

He was good in Chinese because he had been familiar with the classics and various ancient texts since his childhood; but as for math, he had never even touched those things, only understanding some simple basic knowledge. He couldn’t solve a single problem on the entire test; those four points were purely guesses.

Lan Yuqin snorted coldly, "Tell me, what should we do about these grades you’ve got?"

"Right, what should we do?"

"Stop being slick, I’m the one asking you!" Lan Yuqin intensified her tone.

Chen Nan touched his nose and flashed a grin, "Then let’s just chill."

Lan Yuqin was livid, glaring as she yelled, "Mr. Chen, show some respect! Do you believe I’ll make you run laps on the track field?"

"Sure, you’ll be with me anyway, shall we go run now?"

Lan Yuqin felt like she was at her breaking point.

This guy wasn’t a student; he was clearly a monster!

She had indeed intended to teach Chen Nan a lesson, but then she thought better of it and gave up—the last time she punished him by making him run laps, dozens of them didn’t tire him at all, while she was almost falling asleep. She couldn’t do such a foolish thing again.

"For these five subjects, you’re going to copy each test paper one hundred times and hand them to me within a week, not missing a single word!"

"One hundred times? You make it sound so easy, do you think ink grows on trees? Forget about one hundred times; I won’t copy it even once. Is it my fault I did poorly? What law states that students must have good grades or it’s a crime if they don’t?"

After saying this, Chen Nan walked out.

"Mr. Chen, stop right there, stop!"

Lan Yuqin pointed at Chen Nan’s retreating back and commanded, but he ignored her and kept walking out.

"You little jerk, I said stop!"

Lan Yuqin was furious, this student was far too arrogant; she rushed forward, grabbed Chen Nan’s clothes, and dragged him back into the office, "Where are you running off to? Didn’t you hear me say to copy them one hundred times?"

Chen Nan turned around, staring at her without blinking, "Lan Yuqin, you’re going too far. I have my temper too. I’ve already told you, I really couldn’t do it, it wasn’t deliberate. Keep making unreasonable trouble, and don’t blame me for not being polite."

Lan Yuqin glared back, "I’m your homeroom teacher, how dare you talk to me like that!"

"I’m not in a good mood right now, let’s talk another day, goodbye."

Chen Nan broke free and turned around again.

However, Lan Yuqin grabbed him once more, "You’re not leaving today without promising to copy them one hundred times!"

Chen Nan turned around and left the office.

"You little jerk, stop! Jerk!"

Lan Yuqin stamped her foot and shouted, but Chen Nan had already walked far away.

"I will not let you off, just you wait!"

Lan Yuqin’s inner turmoil was something Chen Nan would never understand.

After he returned to the classroom, he headed straight for Su Qingqing.

At that moment, Su Qingqing was clutching her phone, happily surfing through the school forum, enjoying the news about Chen Nan’s fall from grace as a top student to a heartbreaker. Chen Nan rushed over, snatched the phone, and glared, "Su Qingqing, give me a good explanation of what’s the deal with those two kids!"

With puppy-dog eyes, Su Qingqing blinked innocently at Chen Nan, "Dummy, don’t be so mean."

"Quit acting cute, I’m not falling for it!" Chen Nan said grumpily, "You’re my cousin, how could you join forces with Jiang Xiaomi to gang up on me? That’s really disloyal."

With a pout, Su Qingqing nodded, "I know I was wrong, it won’t happen again."

Chen Nan had come to confront her, but seeing her pitiful look, he felt a twinge of guilt for bullying a girl. Gnashing his teeth, he said, "Don’t pretend to be pathetic. I know what you’re up to, alright?"

Su Qingqing looked at him with longing eyes and said nothing, her pitiful expression as if to say: Cousin, you big bully, you’re picking on me...

Chen Nan had intended to give her a good scolding, but how could he harden his heart now? Despite knowing it was an act, just seeing her melted any resolve he had.

"Fine, stop it, I won’t blame you. Just don’t do it again, okay!"

No sooner had Chen Nan finished speaking than Su Qingqing’s face lit up with joy, and she laughed, grabbing her phone, "You’re so nice, truly my dear cousin. I’ll cook dinner for you when we get home."

Chen Nan’s eyes widened. Her cooking... was it even edible?
