"You bastard, bastard, big bastard!"
Chu Wenrou struggled hard, trying to pull her foot out. However, just as she was exerting force, Chen Nan suddenly let go, causing her to lose her balance and fall on her butt to the ground.
Chu Wenrou cried out in pain, holding her butt while squatting on the ground, staring at Chen Nan with gritted teeth, as if she wanted to eat him alive.
Chen Nan shrugged, looking helpless, "Don’t look at me with such a resentful look. People who don’t know might think I did something to you. If it ruins your reputation, it doesn’t matter, but if others think I have such bad taste, then that’s really a big problem."
Chu Wenrou was so angry her chest was heaving. Though she was small, it didn’t mean her temper was small. She nearly roared, "You Chen, you only bully this lady. You’re not a man!"
Chen Nan glanced at his crotch and said, "How about we find a place where I strip naked and you take a look, see if I’m a man or not?"
"You what, you? Speak your mind, don’t hold it in."
"Shameless! You’re utterly shameless!"
Chu Wenrou stomped the ground a few times in frustration, but stepped on a pebble and screamed in pain, hopping on one foot.
Chen Nan turned around, shaking his head with a sigh, "You brought this upon yourself, you can’t blame others!"
Chu Wenrou’s anger was already at its peak, hearing Chen Nan’s schadenfreude words, she rushed over with hands on her hips, blocking Chen Nan’s way, "You stinky man, this lady is hurt and you can still laugh. Do you have a shred of sympathy?"
Chen Nan was speechless, responding impatiently, "I say, are you out of your mind? You’re the one looking for trouble with me, why should I sympathize with you?"
Chu Wenrou pouted, looking up at Chen Nan, "Hmph, as a man, you should have some gentlemanly demeanor!"
"You silly, go home and take your medicine."
Chen Nan was truly speechless, this woman not only looked for trouble but also criticized his behavior.
Chu Wenrou seemed to realize she was overstepping, pointing at Chen Nan’s nose, "I heard you’re good at basketball, dare to compete with this lady? If you lose, return my beloved Ferrari!"
So this was all about the car.
Chen Nan glanced outside the school gates and said, "Didn’t you already buy a new one?"
"This lady loves that old one!" Chu Wenrou looked provocative, "Cut the crap, dare to compete with me? See how I regain face and crush you!"
Chen Nan shrugged, "Your face is already lost in the Pacific Ocean, can you still find it?"
Chu Wenrou roared, baring her teeth and claws.
"Bastard my ass, I need to get to class, no time to mess with you."
Chen Nan wanted to turn around, but Chu Wenrou held onto his clothes tightly, huffing, "Chen Nan, if you don’t compete today, I’ll tell everyone in school that you deceived my feelings, tricked me into bed, got me pregnant, and then ignored me, humph!"
Chen Nan glanced at her, "Are you brain-damaged? You think saying that is good for your reputation?"
Chu Wenrou was speechless and switched to acting shamelessly, "No matter what, you must agree, whether you want to or not, today I must win back that car."
"This lady is the goddess of the girls’ basketball team, there’s no way I’d lose!"
Chen Nan looked at her, giving a helpless smile, with her just over five-foot frame, the goddess, more like, mediocre player, "Okay, if I lose, I’ll give back the car. If you lose, never bother me again, disappear from my world completely."
"Deal!" Chu Wenrou agreed breezily, running towards the car, "Wait for me a moment, I’ll go put on shoes."
Soon, Chu Wenrou returned with shoes on and a basketball, heading into the school gates.
News of their match spread quickly among the passing students, especially since it coincided with break time, the word spread rapidly across campus.
When they arrived at the school basketball court, a large group of students had already gathered to watch the match.
These students, though not clear on Chu Wenrou’s skills, still vividly remembered Chen Nan’s last semester’s god-like performance on the court. They wanted to see what this little girl was capable of to dare challenge Chen Nan. Wasn’t she courting death?
Chu Wenrou balanced the ball on one finger, spinning it skillfully, clearly a ball-handling pro, "Since there aren’t any referees around, let’s just have a shooting contest, each of us takes ten shots, whoever makes the most wins."
Chen Nan replied nonchalantly.
Hearing this, the onlookers felt a wave of disappointment.
They had hoped to witness Chen Nan’s god-like skills once more, but it turns out it would just be a shooting contest.
"Hmph, today you’ll see what it means to never miss!" Chu Wenrou paid no mind to the crowd, moving to the three-point line, ready to shoot, but—
Chen Nan stopped her and said, "The distance is too close."
Chu Wenrou snorted, "Then where do you suggest we stand?"
"Go stand under the opposite basket and shoot this way," Chen Nan said.
Chu Wenrou was stunned, thinking this guy must be crazy? How can anyone make a shot from that far?
Even from the half-court line, the accuracy rate is low, but this guy suggested standing under the opposite basket, spanning the entire court. Most people can’t even throw that far, let alone aim!
Madness, he’s definitely insane, how else could he say such nonsense!
Chen Nan glanced at her, "If you’re too scared, just concede."
"Who said I’m scared?"
Chu Wenrou huffed, ran to the opposite basket, picked up the ball, aimed, and furiously threw it—
The sound was loud, the result disappointing.
"What a stupid rule, from this far it’s impossible to make a basket!"
Chu Wenrou glared at Chen Nan, picked up the ball and tried again, missing again until she made two shots by the eighth attempt, but missed the tenth shot.
Chu Wenrou tossed the ball to Chen Nan, feeling slightly pleased.
From this distance, making two shots was already a miracle. She muttered to herself, stupid bastard, making such a ridiculous rule, better miss every shot, let’s see how you embarrass yourself, humph!
