Even though Lan Yuqin felt her face burning, there was no way she would admit it. Instead, she glared and said, "Who says I’m blushing? I’m clearly not!"
Without a word, Chen Nan took out his phone.
He opened the camera, snapped a photo of Lan Yuqin’s face with a "click," and, holding it in front of her, said, "Look for yourself, your face is as red as a monkey’s butt, and you still say you’re not blushing?"
Lan Yuqin was speechless, thinking, My gosh, you damn jerk, could you give me a bit of face?
"Even if I’m blushing, so what? It’s just a bit hot today!" Lan Yuqin fanned herself with her hand, refusing to admit she was jealous.
Chen Nan glanced at the corner air conditioning unit and smiled, "The AC is set to a temperature below ten degrees, and I’m still feeling a bit cold. I really don’t know where your alleged heat’s coming from. Could it be from your heart?"
Hearing that, Lan Yuqin’s face turned even redder.
"I say I’m hot and that’s that. Why are you making such a fuss!" Lan Yuqin huffed, walking to the AC vent to blow air on her face.
Chen Nan rubbed his nose and walked over to her, "You’ll catch a cold . Your face is just red now, but if you catch a cold, you’ll end up with a fever."
"You’re the one who’s feverish, jerk!"
After cooling off a bit, Lan Yuqin’s face returned to normal. She pointed at Chen Nan and said, "Get out, just get out right now, and don’t let me see you again!"
Chen Nan grinned, "You mean you want me to get out of the school and never appear in your line of sight again?"
"I want you out of the office!" Lan Yuqin intensified her tone.
She was actually feeling quite frustrated. She had initially intended to confront Chen Nan about his romantic endeavors, but now this jerk wouldn’t stop harping about her jealousy and blush. If she didn’t kick him out soon, those little secrets in her heart would surely be dug out by him.
If that happened, Lan Yuqin wouldn’t know where to put her face.
So, she had to temporarily give up on pursuing Chen Nan, because right now, the most important thing was to guard those unsavory little secrets in her heart.
Chen Nan scratched his head and said, "Teacher, you’re the one who asked me to come into the office. We haven’t even done anything yet, and now you’re telling me to get out. I say, your mind changes way too quickly, don’t you think?"
Lan Yuqin glared and pointed to the door, "Stop babbling and get out!"
"But I’ve only ever walked since I was a kid, never rolled. I don’t even know how to roll. Maybe you can teach me, after all, you’re my teacher."
"Jerk! Jerk! You’re driving me mad!" Lan Yuqin roared.
"You’re not dead yet, aren’t you? You’re still alive and kicking, right?"
Lan Yuqin clenched her fists, her face turning red once more, but this time it was out of anger. Her chest heaved violently, making Chen Nan almost drool. After taking a deep breath to control her emotions, she said, "Get out, walk out!"
Chen Nan looked puzzled, "You just asked me to roll, and now you want me to walk. Should I roll or walk?"
Lan Yuqin managed to control her anger but got provoked again, and she couldn’t help but curse, "Damn it! Roll, just roll, get out as fast as you can!"
Seeing Lan Yuqin waving like that, Chen Nan couldn’t help but laugh. This didn’t look like a teacher at all; her image was comparable to that of Chu Wenrou, the little troublemaker.
He was about to tease her even more when—
Lan Yuqin, wielding a ruler, charged at him ferociously.
Chen Nan’s eyes widened, and after taking two steps back, he immediately turned and ran. If he didn’t, the ruler would definitely hit him.
"You damn jerk, didn’t you say you couldn’t roll? Stand still, let me beat you to death!" Lan Yuqin, holding the ruler, chased straight out of the office, only to find that the hallway was already crowded with students.
Her furious cries in the office had already reached the classroom.
And so, most of the classmates had come out to watch the commotion.
What utter humiliation!
Once Lan Yuqin realized what was happening, she immediately stopped chasing after Chen Nan and, taking a glance at the many students, said irritably, "What are you looking at? There’s nothing to see. Get back to your classrooms and study!"
Whether they were students from class nine or from other classes, upon hearing the tigress’s roar, they all rushed back to their classrooms in a flurry.
They couldn’t help but wonder what on earth Chen Nan had done to Lan Yuqin to make her so furious!
Though unsure of the specifics, everyone could be sure that Chen Nan definitely hadn’t done anything good. Otherwise, Lan Yuqin, nicknamed the "smiling demoness," wouldn’t have lost her temper so easily.
"Chen Nan, that beast, surely did something outrageous to her!"

Hearing the students’ departing discussions, Lan Yuqin wished she could smash her head against the wall in embarrassment. Never in her teaching career had she been so humiliated.

Muttering bitterly under her breath, Lan Yuqin turned and returned to the office.
But as soon as she stepped through the door, she couldn’t help but chuckle recalling what had just happened with Chen Nan. After the anger had dissipated, all that remained was a fond memory somewhat like playful flirting...
Knowing he had angered Lan Yuqin, Chen Nan dashed up to the rooftop.
"My mouth is too flippant. Now I’ve angered Lan Yuqin. How will I face the classroom later!" Chen Nan stood at the edge of the rooftop, lighting a cigarette and feeling a bit gloomy.
Just now, he had gotten carried away and playfully teased Lan Yuqin, without considering the consequences. Now, thinking back, he truly regretted it. How could he, a grown man, get into it with a little girl? Now this was just great, he couldn’t go back to the classroom.
"Maybe I should call her, apologize, and ask for forgiveness..."
Chen Nan muttered, just about to take out his phone, when suddenly he heard a voice from behind—
"Amitabha, benefactor Chen, we meet again."
At the sound of the voice, Chen Nan’s mind immediately conjured up the image of that filthy yet incredibly lecherous monk!
