"You beast, son of a bitch, scram!"
Yun Fei glared at him furiously, wishing she could leap forward and slap him a few times; the guy was really shameless and despicable.
Seeing Yun Fei’s exasperated demeanor, Chen Nan didn’t provoke her any further. He rolled down the window and looked outside, "By the way, where is the location of your gathering? I haven’t taken the wrong direction, have I?"
Upon hearing this, Yun Fei quickly glanced outside, then let out a sharp scream with an "Ah," startling Chen Nan.
"Damn it, wrong direction! Before the eighth intersection, we should have turned left, why did you keep going straight?" Yun Fei nearly died of frustration. Preoccupied with bickering with Chen Nan, she’d been too mad to notice they had taken the wrong way.
Chen Nan stepped on the brakes hard, "So, according to what you’re saying, we need to go back the same way to the eighth intersection?"
"No shit, what did you think?"
Chen Nan was speechless. It was she who had been giving directions, yet now that they had gone the wrong way, she was still full of anger.
Once the car slowed down, Chen Nan made a sharp turn to head back, then stepped on the gas fiercely to speed back the way they came. The move scared Yun Fei beside him considerably, "You idiot, why did you make a U-turn? Driving against the traffic like that, you’re going to get caught by the traffic police!"
"Let them catch us then; they can’t outrun me," Chen Nan said nonchalantly.
"But it’s dangerous to drive . What if you collide with oncoming traffic?" Yun Fei, panicking like an ant on a hot pan, urged, "Forget it, stop the car; let me drive."
Chen Nan glanced at her, "For someone who practices martial arts, how can you be so chicken-hearted? If you keep nagging, I’ll just drive home and not go with you."
Pointing at Chen Nan, Yun Fei’s fingers trembled with anger. Finally, she simply reclined her seat and lay down in the car, ignoring him. If there was an accident and she was killed, so be it; this bastard was incurably stubborn.
Sure enough, before long, a siren sounded from behind, and a traffic policeman on a motorcycle was in hot pursuit.
Yun Fei was even more exasperated; she glared at Chen Nan and said, "I’m already late. If you get us delayed by the traffic police, I’ll fight you to the death!"
"Don’t worry, he won’t catch up to me."
Chen Nan pressed down on the accelerator and sped away recklessly. Driving the wrong way at high speed, he scared the oncoming traffic into moving aside, as they cursed him as a lunatic with a death wish.
Chen Nan completely ignored the drivers’ curse words, his attention focused on the rearview mirror, where the police motorcycle seemed to be getting closer.
Dammit, looks like I need to pull off some tricks to shake him off.
Chen Nan glanced at Yun Fei and asked, "My dear, how do you drift?"
On hearing this, Yun Fei became excited instantly, "With your lousy skills, you want to drift? Are you courting death?"
"That guy behind us is getting too close. How am I going to lose him without a drift?" Chen Nan pointed to the front and said, "That intersection is coming up; we need to turn. Tell me quickly how to drift, or I’ll just go straight through it without turning, wasting your time."
Yun Fei stared at him intently, but Chen Nan simply ignored her murderous look.
After gritting her teeth, Yun Fei finally spoke, "This sports car is rear-wheel drive; for deceleration drifting, pull the handbrake, for acceleration drifting, stomp on the gas pedal when turning. Just take it easy so you don’t roll the car."
"With my skills, don’t worry, I won’t roll."
Chen Nan said somewhat excitedly. As they approached the intersection, he floored the accelerator and suddenly swept the steering wheel to the side, immediately the tires screamed against the pavement, and the car drifted smoothly through the curve. Fortunately, there weren’t many vehicles on that stretch, or else with such reckless playing, he would have surely crashed.
After a narrow escape without actual danger, Yun Fei was so frightened that she broke out in cold sweat. She turned her head to look in the rearview mirror, only to see that the police motorcycle, because of its excessive speed, failed to make the turn in time and instead barreled straight through the intersection.
"We shook them off, let’s go," Yun Fei rolled her eyes at him, "Not bad in the smarts department, huh? You catch on fast."
Chen Nan immediately slapped his chest, boasting with an air of arrogance, "That goes without saying. In the old days, my master praised me as the smartest person under heaven and above earth."
Yun Fei mimicked a retching gesture to show her disdain.
However, Chen Nan frowned and exclaimed in surprise, "My love, what are you retching for? Could it be that you’re pregnant?"
Yun Fei glared at him fiercely, feeling an urge to rip his mouth apart. No matter what, anything that came out of this bastard’s mouth always got twisted.
"What are you looking at me for? Although you’re my beloved, if you’re pregnant it’s definitely not my doing, don’t pin it on me."
"Pregnant your dead noggin!"
Yun Fei cursed him and simply turned her head away, lying back down in her seat. She was afraid that if she saw Chen Nan’s face again, she wouldn’t be able to contain her urge to explode.
Ten minutes later, they arrived at a leisure and entertainment club.
As soon as they got out of the car, Chen Nan wrapped his arm around Yun Fei’s waist and walked inside with a smile.
Yun Fei’s eyes widened as she glared at him, speaking in an annoyed tone.
Chen Nan shrugged his shoulders, saying indifferently, "Sure, I can let go. But right now I’m supposedly your husband, and if you don’t even let me hug you, do you think your classmates would believe you?"
Yun Fei was at a loss for words.
She bit her lip and stared at Chen Nan, "Fine, you can hug me, but can you stop staring at me with those lustful eyes? Your gaze is really annoying me."
"What’s wrong with me looking at my wife with desire?" Chen Nan applied a little pressure with his hand, pinching her slender waist and sighed, "My love, you’re almost becoming a barrel waist here, there’s so much fat. It’s about time you started losing weight."
Yun Fei felt like she was going crazy. Her waist was as slender as a snake’s, how could there be any fat on it?
Clearly, she had a devilish figure, yet Chen Nan insisted on calling her waist like a barrel—how could she not be angry? She gave Chen Nan’s arm a vicious pinch, "You beast, can’t you speak like a normal person?"
"Bro never speaks human language, I only speak the language of gods."
"Why don’t you just drop dead!"
"Ah, there are so many beautiful women here!" Chen Nan exclaimed, then leaned close to Yun Fei’s ear and took a deep breath, "My love, you smell pretty good, did you spray some perfume?"
Yun Fei’s teeth clenched audibly, her expression fluctuating wildly as she struggled to keep her composure.
This bastard was too much, ignoring what she said was one thing, but to endlessly tease her was just despicable, vile, the scum of the earth!
Yun Fei had to admit that she had been blind. When she first met him, how could she have thought he was a naïve young man? He was obviously a big pervert and a rascal. Looking back, she felt she was utterly blind!
"Cut the crap, we’re already half an hour late. Hurry up and come with me to VIP room 306." Yun Fei rolled her eyes and pulled him away.
