Ling Xuejiu’s heart skipped a beat, and she thought to herself, ’What does she mean by telling me all this? Could it be that she’s had a falling-out with Wang Shuze? Otherwise, why would she talk to me about it?’ Just as she wanted to hear what was after ’it’s just that,’ the other party stopped speaking. In a moment of urgency, she couldn’t help but blurt out, "It’s just what?"
"Huh, it’s nothing!" When Luo Shuixi looked up again, her face had regained its usual elegance and indifference, and she said, "Actually, I came here to ask you about someone."

Giving a chuckle, before Ling Xuejiu could respond, Luo Shuixi continued, "I remember after he threw the punch, he returned to Miss Ling’s car."
Ling Xuejiu’s eyes widened. She initially wanted to deny it, but Luo Shuixi’s following words left her with no room for rebuttal.
The events of yesterday were orchestrated by her, having Leng Xuan confront Wang Shuze, although the sneak-attack wasn’t her intention. Still, ultimately, she couldn’t escape responsibility. It had not occurred to her that, despite the distance, she had not managed to evade Luo Shuixi’s watchful eye. Her face turned slightly red as she thought to herself, ’Since she already knows, she must have told Wang Shuze, right? No wonder today at the hotel, when I saw Wang Shuze, he ignored me. Usually, at the very least, he would greet me. Is he angry with me because of this incident?’
Thinking of this, Ling Xuejiu genuinely came to loathe Leng Xuan, thinking if it wasn’t for him, why would Wang Shuze ignore her?
"What are you asking about him for?" Ling Xuejiu reverted to her usual lady-like temperament, glaring at Luo Shuixi in displeasure. She was obviously blaming her for being a tattletale and telling Wang Shuze about the incident.
Luo Shuixi was perceptive as ice, reading Ling Xuejiu’s thoughts from just a glance. With an indifferent smile, she said, "Don’t misunderstand, Wang Shuze is not aware of this matter."
Ling Xuejiu was taken aback. Had she misjudged Luo Shuixi? But then why would Wang Shuze act as if he had not seen her?
In fact, her concern had caused confusion. Earlier at the hotel, Wang Shuze was preoccupied, so although his eyes were looking forward, his gaze was empty. It wasn’t intentional neglect on his part.
Ling Xuejiu looked at Luo Shuixi, thinking to herself, ’Seeing as she seems intent on causing trouble for Leng Xuan, why shouldn’t I use her to deal with that rustic?’ And so, she blurted out, "His name is Leng Xuan!" Then she grabbed Li Mengjie and hailed a school car and left.
"Leng Xuan... Leng Xuan..." Luo Shuixi murmured the name softly, her beautiful and serene eyes reflecting an indescribable meaning.
In the car, Li Mengjie seemed to be pondering something and had remained silent. Ling Xuejiu, feeling irked, couldn’t help but slap her lightly, saying, "Hey, silly girl, what are you thinking about, to be so lost in thought!"
"Ah!" Li Mengjie suddenly snapped out of it, then with a grin said, "Xue Jiu, have you ever thought about why Luo Shuixi wants to look into Cold Bodyguard’s affairs?"
Ling Xuejiu rolled her eyes, saying, "How should I know?" Although in her mind she was thinking, ’That’s something only a dimwit like you couldn’t figure out. She’s obviously looking to cause him trouble!’
With a mysterious air, Li Mengjie said, "I think there’s something fishy going on here."
