Leng Xuan was completely speechless and it took him a while to say, "Miss Li, aren’t you being too unreasonable? I just wanted to help out a bit."
Li Mengjie said, "Don’t tell me everything I saw before was because Xiao Yun felt pain in her chest, so you ran over to help..."
"Hey!" Leng Xuan was already sweating profusely and said, "Li Mengjie, can you please stop bringing this up?"
Li Mengjie let out a sly laugh. Seeing Leng Xuan’s embarrassed face, and recalling how he’d lectured Xu Renjie, made Ling Xuejiu cry, and displayed his amazing driving skills—so cool that it was killer—she felt a great sense of happiness in her heart and conquest, so she said, "I can certainly stop mentioning it, but you’ve got to follow through on what you’ve said. Suddenly, a classic dialogue appeared on the television:
Shin: "Do you sell soy sauce?"
Fish shop owner: "No."
Shin: "Do you sell mustard?"
Fish shop owner: "No."
Shin, in a rage, said, "You have nothing and yet you dare to open a shop."
"Haha, that’s hilarious, haha..." Li Mengjie covered her mouth with one hand, her eyes squinting into crescents, her whole body rocking with laughter. As her chest trembled, it was quite a sight of turbulent waves. Noticing that Leng Xuan wasn’t laughing, Li Mengjie immediately turned her head to look at him and realized he wasn’t watching the TV with her at all. His eyes were firmly fixed on her ample bust... her face flushed red with both shame and anger as she said, "Leng Xuan, I told you to watch the TV, where are your eyes wandering? It turns out you really are a pervert!"
Leng Xuan, having been toyed with enough, actually found it quite enjoyable to see her angry, so he deliberately leered at her, eyes glued to the two peaks rising from beneath her cotton nightgown, and said with a wicked smile, "If I didn’t look, wouldn’t I be blind?
