That evening, after Shen Weiyi finished studying part of her freshman courses and was preparing to go to bed, a sudden message popped up on her phone.

Under the night sky, the girl in her pajamas had a pure and dazzling smile, as brilliant as the bright moon, captivating.
Sheng Ting composed himself, hiding the emotions swirling in his eyes, and said, "I heard your birthday is coming up in a few days. I might be too busy with the lab to attend."

Shen Weiyi recalled seeing fishermen harvesting clams and people selling loose pearls on the island before, but she wondered when he had bought it.
