She always felt that before giving a response, she should not continue to accept his kindness.
The girl next to her looked bewilderedly at the suddenly appearing Sheng Ting, then at Shen Weiyi, and when she noticed both of their gazes on her, she blinked before she quickly realized and nodded vigorously, "Don’t worry, I will definitely take good care of Shen."

Seeing her hesitate, Sheng Ting stopped and his gaze landed on her hand, "Does it hurt?"
His look softened as he gazed at her.
"If it hurts, you can tell me, and it’s okay to cry," he said.
His voice was deep, yet filled with tenderness.
