"Huh?" Shen Weiyi had never seen him look so fierce before and, inexplicably feeling a bit guilty, she whispered, "It’s mostly healed already."
"Did sister get hurt?"
At these words, Little Bao’s eyebrows immediately furrowed, and his mouth puckered up, his big eyes brimming with tears as if he were about to cry at any moment.
"It’s fine, sister has already healed," Shen Weiyi rushed to comfort him.
"I’m sorry, Little Bao was naughty; I won’t throw tantrums anymore. Sister, is your injury serious, does it hurt?" Little Douding said, his eyes welling up with tears again.
"Not at all, Little Bao is such a good boy; sister loves Little Bao the most. Little Bao just didn’t know sister’s hand was injured. And look, my hand is all better now, see?" Shen Weiyi extended her injured hand to show him, slowly moving her fingers and said, "See, it’s already healed!"
Sheng Ting approached with a stern face, "Injuries to muscles and bones take a hundred days to heal; your hand hasn’t even been two weeks."

Shen Weiyi lifted her head, and her large eyes full of indictment stared at him, her black pupils brimming with disapproval.

She was defending Little Bao’s innocence.
"Alright, I was wrong!" Sheng Ting capitulated under her glare, admitting his mistake without principles.
"You should apologize to Little Bao," Shen Weiyi corrected him.
Then, turning to Little Bao with a complicated expression, he said, "I’m sorry, I was wrong earlier; I shouldn’t have raised my voice at you."
Before Little Douding could speak, Shen Weiyi spoke for him, "It’s okay, Little Bao is generous and won’t stoop to your level, right, Little Bao?"
"Hmph!" The little guy puffed out his chest, lifted his chin, and let out a grunt in Sheng Ting’s direction, then turned to Shen Weiyi, instantly reverting to his adoring fans’ mode, "Sister, does it hurt?"
"It doesn’t hurt anymore!" Shen Weiyi smiled in response.
"Little Bao can blow on it to help." Little Douding carefully cradled her hand and gently blew on it.
Shen Weiyi’s heart melted further.
"Okay, let’s go inside!"
Inside the house, Situ Jing had been waiting for a while.
As soon as she saw her, she said, "Let me take a look, have you lost weight?"
"No," Shen Weiyi said with a smile, "with the soup Aunt Jing sent, how could I possibly lose weight?"
Situ Jing looked at her and said, "I only sent the driver to deliver it twice, knowing you girls care about your appearance, I was afraid you might think the soup would make you gain weight."

Meanwhile, Little Bao lifted his head, glanced at Sheng Ting, then at Shen Weiyi, his little face filled with suspicion. Suddenly rising from the ground, he positioned himself between the two, and with a cool baby voice, he said, "Are you two keeping secrets from Little Bao?"
After saying that, he climbed up Shen Weiyi’s leg and into her arms, wrapping his little short arms around her neck, proclaiming his sovereignty to Sheng Ting, "Yiyi belongs to Little Bao, Dingding is not allowed to take her away."
